I have been trying to research Steve Hanks and his painting techniques...but all I seem to find is vague bio information...I would really like to know any in-depth details, including how he developed his skills, his models, and his process...his work with watercolors is amazing...it'd be great to just chat with anyone else who enjoys his work too!

Steve Hanks is indeed a genious. His work supports ideas of comfort and plays with light in such a way as it just makes a person want to go inside the painting. His models?....I've heard that he uses his wife and a couple of others but I'm not sure. I do love his work though and I've tried to accomplish the same thing in my own paintings. His use of lines and his use of color and lighting are simply incredible.
