funny how you didn't point out how "GOD" made all of those people before kill people, he killed people himself with floods, he tortured people to prove their trust in him (Job), he is just so perfect, isn't he? you're right!

"beliefs like buddism or wutever god like alla (however u spell that) has to do with hatered and killing people to be able to live in paradise...anyway...thought i'd point that out... "
What do you truly know about Buddism, Hinduism, and other religions? You do not have a well thought out, intelligent statement. This speaks of ignorance.

I agree, first do some serious research before saying such things about other religions. Christianity had the most bloodthirsty history, do your homework.
Yes, it's spelled "Allah" and He's the same God that the Christians, Jews, and Baha'is worship. Allah is just an Arabic word, don't trip on a foreign word that means the same thing. Expand your mind darlin', the world doesn't revolve around English speaking Christians.

wait... what does the pacifist philosophy, Buddhism, have to do with any of this? and secondly, only Muslim extremists believe that way. Many of them are peaceful people, and their religion has nothing to do with killing. I mean, friggin Pat Robertson is the guy who advocated assasination. He's an extremist. All religions have them, but propoganda only shows the ones on the "other side". It's not your fault, but you need to get out more and maybe learn more about these religions before you label them as "having to do with hate". People will think that you are ignorant. Maybe try looking up "dalai lama", the leader of the buddhist faith. He has won the Nobel Peace Prize for spreading peace and stopping extremeism across all religions.

None of the religions advocate hatred, evil and killing people - they all support the Golden rule and love for our brothers. Unfortunately, it's the religious who are the haters and the evil who kill others....by virtue of making statements - such as the one you made about how it's interesting that YOUR religion has the ONLY TRUE ONE who loved them so much that HE died for them.
This is THE problem...if the religious would simply look at themselves and how self righteous they are and how they look down their noses at other religions because THOSE people don't have a REAL GOD like we do....
How unchristian of you to make such a statement in front of the world.

In fundamental Buddhism, the emphasis is on seeing Truth, on knowing it, and on understanding it. The emphasis is NOT on BLIND faith. The teaching of Buddhism is on "come and see" but never on come and believe. Buddhism is rational and requires personal effort, stating that by only one’s own efforts can Perfect Wisdom be realized. Each individual is responsible for his or her own emancipation from anguish and suffering.
Buddhism allows each individual to study and observe Truth internally and requires no blind faith before acceptance. Buddhism advocates no dogmas, no creeds, no rites, no ceremonies, no sacrifices, no penances, all of which must usually be accepted on blind faith. Buddhism is not a system of faith and worship but rather it is merely a Path to Supreme Enlightenment.
The Buddha referred to his teaching as simply a raft to leave this shore of suffering and impermanence, and to get to the other shore of bliss and safety, True Permanent Reality, Nirvana. Upon realization of Nirvana, the raft is no longer needed.
The Buddha referred to his teaching as the Middle Path, called this because it avoids the extremes of both self-indulgence in the world and the self-mortification of strict asceticism. The path he taught incorporates both intellectual progress plus spiritual progress with practice that reflects compassion, morality, wisdom and concentration while at the same time seeing and understanding the world of existence as it truly is
Buddha does NOT endorse the killing of people.
Also, while you're being the Holy Roller, think about all of the horrible things that have happened in the name of religion, even by the "christians".
Also, "God" didn't die for you. It was illegidly Jesus who did so.

I like the fact that you don't want to evangelize, but you should double check your sources. I really don't think Buddhism has anything to do with hatred or killing. At all. I believe that many people in the Islam (the extremists only) are participating in jihad (holy war) in order to gain entrance to Paradise without working. I see this as a form of sloth. Good Muslims will do the charitible work of Allah, in order to gain a place in Paradise.

Look at the history of christianity, founded on murder towards anyone not practicing their religion The catholics and their endless wars, the christians murders of the north american Indians, the KKK. The current pope actually was a member of Hitler's army. There is no love in christianity. In 2000 years they have yet to even produce a society capable of justice for everyone.

Christianity isn't without its own grisly past, many atrocities have been committed in the name of Christ- even more so in the name of his Father by the Hebrews. And no, the idea of a God sacrificing himself isn't original to Christianity.

Umm... quite a mouthful there and it's coming out kinda garbled.
The other religions DO NOT encourage hatred if you ever get around to reading their sacred scriptures as well...
Hatred is within the hardened hearts of man, regardless of age, race, color, sex, creed or nationality.
Peace be with you!
