The question should be "is it proper?" and not whether is right or wrong. The answer is "it depends!": your upbringing, the ocassion (an emergency), etc. Friendship should not be an open line of credit to ask favors although in a true frindship there will always be give and take - that is called sharing. Bottom line, you will do what is comfortable yet that is not to say is the proper thing to do.

Depends on how long you've been together. If its been a long time, and you really intend on paying him back, go right ahead and ask him. I borrow money from my boyfriend all the time, and I always pay him back as soon as I can, but we've also been together for ten years.
But if you've only been together for a few months or so, you might just look like you're only after his money.

There isnt anything wrong with that. If he is truly a good boyfriend then he would have no problem lending you the money, just be prepared to help him out some time if he needs it.

I think it depends on how long you have been dating and the seriousness of the relationship. However, since you are questioning the big question it seems to me that you are not comfortable with him in this manner. I agree with previous comments, make sure its for a legitimate reason and if its a large amount, make sure you let him know you will pay him back.

nothing wrong with it if he can ask you for s-x then you can ask him for money nothing in life is free. dont get me wrong im not saying sell yourself...look at it this way if you were married and he didnt bring home any money he would be sleeping on the sofa...

Why are you broke?You are old enough to get a job, aren't you?You should not depend on anyone for money.Grow up and get a job so you can make your own money.That way when you need it you can get it yourself.
