When they do nothing for them, and critize our government when they get so much more here?

I agree. Wouldn't it have been a lot more beneficial for the illegals to have gathered in protest of the Mexican government than in protest of the American government? I would imagine that if the "demonstrations" where aimed at the Mexican government..the illegals would have the total support of the American people. In essence, they would have been asking for the backing of Americans instead of demanding something that they don't deserve. It was a colossal mis judgment on the part of the organizers.

Because Mexico is their native homeland, and they would never show disrepect for their heritage, any more than anyone else would.
I am Choctaw Indian, Portugese, French, Swedish, English, Dutch, German, Polish, Irish, and through my children's father I have added scottish, Shawnee, more Choctaw, and Su Indian.
I love the heritage of every nation that flows through my blood, yet I am well aware of the crimes against people, and nations that each one has in it's history.
This does not make me love them any less. It just makes me hold on tighter to what I have learned is right, and wrong about those histories.
This is more or less what an American is.
When an Immigrant comes to America and starts a family, somewhere down the line a new heritage is going to be introduced. Believe me, the Jewish people are stilling struggling with that one.
I love America, and if America is going to survive, immigrants must understand the values they are accepting by becoming citizens.
No heritage is unworthy of freedom, but as a tenth generation American I warn immigrants, America is not free.
Our homes can be raided for non violent offenses, warrants can be issued on civil minor offenses.
Our cities can force us off our land if they want to build on it.
Employers can violate your civil rights with background checks, and drug tests, to increase the cost of hiring American workers. They truly offer little benefits, if any, and the cost of living has well surpassed the average yearly income.
Our police utilize gang style tactics to combat drugs while they endanger every citizen living in or near the area.
Your identity can be stolen, and all the years of hard work will be gone.
They still collect taxes on the people from wars that have long since passed, and continue to triple, and quadruple tax Americans, which is against the law.
It is far easier to end up homeless in America than it is to live the American Dream. Our government has seen to that.
Are you sure that you want to come here? What is better here?
We have gangs, terrorist, gun runners, just about everything you fled?
America was once great, but the continual disrepect of the nation by the government, has made this country the same as any other country.
I hope that this pattern can be stopped, if not I pray for those caught in the cross fire.
Americans have never been sheepish, even if her government is.

Because they are very nationalistic, you would be surprised to hear them talk when they go back to their homeland, they would stick up for the United States. I have witnessed terrible fights over this kind of arguments. Mexicans do not believe in their Government, Many Mexicans who do not know right from wrong, or do not even know how to read or write, are Mexicans while they are here, when they go back, that's another story.

I have a theory.....it is just mine but a theory. It's a story....sorry that is the only way I can get the message accross.

Joe has a Dad.....his Dad raises turnips and does a really good job of it. Things got bad and Joe's Dad sent him to the next county to help another farmer raise turnips. Dad was unhappy everyday but he knew he had done the right thing and wrote and called whenever possible. Joe and the new farmer flourished.....turnips galore and they actually became the best turnip farm in the county. Dad also did better and was pleased with his son's success.

Then Joe was told that "turnip farmer" who had fed him, clothed him, treated him like a son was paying him 12 dollars less than the other workers. He also found out that "turnip farmer" was taking all the information Joe gave to him over FAMILY dinners and destroying his father. Joe was distraught. Outraged.

BUT......he still loved his DAD and appreciated his "turnip farmer". He would stand up for either.

Heritage is amazing......as is goodwill.

Peace

PS: I hope everyone GETS the story!

The same reason why Americans continually stick up for their government and do nothing but criticize the governments of other nations. Because they have the oppurutnity to do so.

First of all because they are mexicans and because they are cowards and prefer to put their problems on another nation, rather than stand up and face the corupt government that has them living the way they live. They come here and complain of how bad it is here, yet, they cross rivers and deserts to come to this awfull country. It shows the ignorance of these folks.

I dont think that they do, they know that they are corrupt and if you ever actually spoke to a Mexican person (from Mexico) then you would no doubtedly hear about that. But they are proud of the Mexican people, their families and friends who put up with a lot and still maintain a friendly, family-oriented demeanor.

Well, heck, the good ole Mexican government provides them with maps .. and info how to get social welfare in the U.S. ... sends them off to greener pastures ... hectors the President of the United States about the rights of Mexican citizens, legal or illegal, in this country ... of course they think their government is great! :)

Becasue they aren't immigrating, they are colonizing and want La Reconquista to suceed in ceding states back to Mexico. I wondered the day of the protest why Mexico was cheering for their countrymen to become citizens, I though that was such a lack of national pride. Later I found out it's because they want states back, which will ultimately lead to a civil war or another war for independance, by our leaders. Even if you give them the states back, we still will have open border policy of non-enforcement and they will continue to colonize from those borders.

They are on a very successful path of doing this annointed by our leaders in Washington to do this. There fantasy politics of protect the colonizers is going to lead us to war!!

"Mexico has a free market economy that recently entered the trillion dollar class."

Mexico jobs are fine - their government has to work out like everyone else the distance between poverty and wealth among the masses, not sidestep their problems at home and send those people up here for us to take care of them. There numbers and attitute is so hugh, it couldn't possibly be for immigration, it's for colonization. Google out La Reconquista and tell us that have we're lying.

In fact, if you look at the sources, they have many diverse jobs and markets to develop, stop being fed lies that everyone in Mexico is a turnip picker!!

WAKE UP AMERICA, YOUR LEADERS ARE LYING TO YOU IN SUCH A WAY THAT MAKES BILL CLINTON'S SEX STORIES LIKE A FAIRY TALE. THEY COULDN'T CONVICT HIM BECAUSE EACH IN THIER OWN WAY ARE JUST LIKE HIM LYING TO YOU. BRING COLONIZATION OUT OF THE CLOSET.
