my name is Leslie, and as a kid, they called me Lester, or when WKRP was on tv...they called me Les Nessman.

I don't think the name is ugly, i think it is usually associated with a bad experience with someone of that name. People make names ugly....

There is no such thing as an ugly name. No matter how bad it sounds to you or to someone else, it seperates yourself from the rest of the world and makes you you. Your parents or some one who loves you very much named you that because they thought of something special when you were born making you special.

I don't really understand what you're asking... If you're asking my name it's Brandi, and no I don't think it's ugly. I think my name is unique, and differentiates me from others. Not only that but I think having it end in an "I" rather then a "Y" makes it stand out more.

Chanelle. I've had really bad experiences with people named Chanelle. It's a pretty name but as was said earlier it was tainted by association.
