I don't know sometimes I can't trust em. But how else can someone reach prosperity? I'm sure it was there way to become prosperous, but are they preaching tainted with that reason, or r they sincerely doing it for God and helping people know Jesus?

You can't trust anyone with your salvation. You have to read the word for yourself, know what it says for yourself. People can tell you anything but what did the bible say about it?

I believe in prosperity, spiritual prosperity first and then prosperity in other areas of life. Prosperity is in the word, pray and let God know your want for prosperity and then search the word . Do as the word says be honest with God and yourself, stay in the word and pray!
I believe television evangelists are doing Gods work and those who are deceitful may fool man but not God, they will have to pay for that.
I watch them also and this is how I discern if what they preach is Gods will or not. You should also pray for wisdom, knowledge and understanding. We all are growing in Christ even the evangelist, in Christ there is always room to grow ( My cup runnith over). This is some of the knowledge that I have but don't take my word for it ; read your Bible.

May God bless and keep you,

Jesus never promised that His followers would have prosperity. He said that he would supply all our needs. Not to say you won't be prosperous, but if anyone preaches the gospel apart from repentance and belief they are wrong. That's what the Bible says. Televangelists are a poor substitute for the teaching and preaching of a local church.

God will hold them accountable. I listen to some of the preaching which is good and don't send them any money. On the mission field people are living on next to nothing , driving old cars and making do. I just can't get past the jets and mansions. Come to the mission field there are lots of good missionaries out here that need financial support.

TV evangelist do a great service for the kingdom of God and at the same time do a great disservice.
As a Christian Pastor my biggest beef with them is the constant harping on money.
I'm sure everyone is smart enough to know that the Church has bills, gas, electric, water and salaries to pay.
When a large segment of society is having to tighten their belt in order to buy gas and food perhaps they need to also.
Besides that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is NOT FOR SALE.
Salvation is NOT FOR SALE.
May God Bless.

Some I really enjoy listening to,if they preach the truth from God's Word, and try to tell the lost how to be saved. Thats what a minister is
called to do. Its sad that there are so many false prophets.

Whether someone is a television evangelist or your own pastor, there is the possibility they could be fake. You have to ask God for incite and wisdom into this person.

A True Christian will hear "faults", in the preaching.

I'm sure there are some good ones. There are a couple I really enjoy.

I would be very very "selective", in my hearing of The Word. That is not only limited to TV.

Have a good week.
