don't eat the junk food...it's simple willpower

I feel that eating what you like in moderation is the best way to go. Allow yourself a little bit of it every once in a while, so you don't feel deprived. Also, you may try eating something healthy--half a bowl of bran cereal, before reaching for the junk. By filling a bit of your stomach with the good stuff you'll find yourself eating less of the junk in the end.

A lot of health food nuts will have you eating what THEY enjoy. That's a mistake. Take a look at what you enjoy, then select what is healthiest. or take a look at what is healthy, and select what you enjoy most. There will probably be a compromise. That's fine, it's a start. Just keep in mind that fat is about 3000 calories a pound, so once you've eaten 3000 more calories than you've burned, you've gained a pound. If you eat large meals outside the home, that could be in as little as two meals.

I used to have a problem with that. Just don't think about it. Concentrate on something else and you won't feel the need to eat junk food. After a couple of days, you'll notice that you won't miss them.

I suppose sewing your mouth shut is out of the question? That being said, just don't do it. Simple I know but so very powerful. Take control of your life and just eat healthy like you want to. Make a choice and stick with it. Not that hard really.

Skip the fried items - go baked, broiled or grilled then endulge with a good side of fries or if you have to have a high cal entree, get a plain baker or salad for your side item.

Remember that your body is a temple. If that does not help, read the ingredients. If there are words that you cannot pronounce, than stay away.
