I seem to remember his saying soemthing similar early in his election bid . His cronies think that they can use USA military might to line their pockets by knocking over little weak countries.
I fear we may bite off more than we can chew and get bit bad. Iraq is a very small nation with no army yet they have fought us to a standstill with volunteer amateurs. what happened to our military might? If Bush really plans to advance an imperial agenda, he is off to a very bad start. I think we should be helping others and making friends as we will need them very soon. we may be at the mercy of our enemies if we keep making more and more of them. We are letting our mouths write checks our a$$es cannot cash

kyle k. I do not see why you are so angry at me and consider me crazy for asking a perfectly logical quaetion. if I am wrong just say no to the question. I do not care if republicans continue with executive branch so long as they do not engage in more wars of coquest to "liberate" people or bring :freedom" to them. Just let them be.
Bush is not the problem. he is the symptom. Dumb voters
Tex. I wuz doin doobies when it still cost $6 lid and came in a prince albert can (hence "lid") It did not solve world problems then and does not now. better to be with all your faculties than muddled and groggy today. They want to pacify you with drugs.

Mi Ai mike golf- just calling me ignorant does not provide any useful idea or dialouge or answer. I appreciate you saying NO, that is clear, but what about my words is untrue? Did he say we were going to spread democracy around the world or not? i remember he did. You have demied it but not refuted it. Is Iraq strong or weak compared to us? are we big or not? Why is it so hard for big strong America to win such a crappy little war? Are we really trying or just spending defense dollars to make people rich. what part is not true?

Being that the US is the premiere world power, it is incumbent that the US is the police state, so to speak, for the rest of the world. Changing presidents will not change that.

I believe that is what Bush wants. War on terror? Please. He wanted this war before 9/11. Where is Osama? Wasn't he the mastermind behind 9/11? Well, why hasn't anyone captured him yet? Bush is an inbred and I'm sorry to say but America wil end up paying for his mistakes in the long run.

It all started with Theodore Rosevelt's presidency and his often coined and familiar phrase, "Walk Softly and Carry a Big Stick". And so we do. And now we're the beat cop of the world.
