ok so theres this guy i like and hes my best guy friend and we kissed, but it turns out that he likes another girl as well as me and so im wondering, how do i get him to like me best? should i keep chasing him and lead him on that way or like start to distance myself and lead him that way?? and dont tell me to stop liking him...

I know this sounds boring, but just be yourself. If it's meant to happen it will happen. It's a logic that comes with age and experience, but if he doesn't like you best in the first place, it's not worth it.
You shouldn't have to fight for a guy's attention... He should be fighting for yours!

In my opinion, you should just do things that he likes but in the same token, things that you enjoy as well. For example, if he likes rollerblading, go to a roller rink with him. Just show him that you really like him and are prepared to take your friendship to the next level. Remember that this is only my opinion.
