I'm going into 7th grade tto and a lot of these answers are true, but just be prepared for more homework and more pressure. Stick to you friends like glue, because they can drop so fast you don't know what hit you. I'm sorry, but girels can be really mean so stand your guard. If you see someone being left out you should try to include them. Different teachers can have different oppinions about almost everything, so don't think that the some tactics will work on everyone. Have fun. If you need adice ask someone you truly trust, perferably a family member. Stick to your family as well because no matter how bad your grades are (which I'm sure they aren't at all) or how big of a mess your room is they will always love you. I would start out (as far as classes go) by choosing the simplistics at least for the frist quarter. After that maybe one or two extra ciricular classes to keep your stress level down. Also, always keep on the good side of your teacor you might not know what will happen. As far as boys, to start out you should follow your parents advice and rules otherwise you might end up in a really bad situation. Also, do what you think is right and definitly don't do anything just to make someone cool. Follow your heart, otherwise your letting yourself down. Make sure the person your dating is someone acceptable to you, not just to your friends. If someone you truley trust tells you to stay away from your dating or trying to become friends with then you probably should, but they may not know what's best for Y-O-U. You should think about that every time you decide to go out with someone or hang out with some one. Is this best for you and your family, (because they will always be a part of your life) or your popularity, or friends. I hope you make the right choices and think about them before you make them. Good Luck, and Congrats on going into Junior High!

7th grade isn't a whole lot different than 6th grade. You'll still have to study and do the work given. There might be some new faces in the crowd.
As for the boys...... they'll still be immature and stupid and you won't know quite what to do with them! Good luck!

The best advice I can give any young person is to start thinking of what jobs interest you. Next, think of a job that will pay well so that you can support yourself. Once you have a general idea of what you may like to do, ask your teacher what courses you should take to work towards that goal. I know it seem like a long way off for you, but planning now can put you way ahead for your future. Finally, take general subjects like math, english, science, social studies and be ready to work hard.

Have as MUCH fun as you possibly . You're in middle school, and still a kid. Don't try to grow up too fast and enjoy as much as you can. :) If there is anything you're interested, join it, so if you really like it, you can pursue it as you get older. You don't need to work THAT hard in school since it's really your high school years that count, but make sure you still do well enough so you can get placed in good classes when you enter the high school.
As for the boys.. just wait.. it's honestly better. As girls we mature a lot more faster and the boys are barely maturing, so they can be frustrating. :-) Trust me on this and you won't regret it. You don't want to get into a relationship at such a young age, it's too much stress and it's not as hyped up as it seems. Wait till you're older. :)

Do your Homework the day you get them don't wait for the last minute and always set up a schedule to review your old work so when time comes for a pop quiz or exams you do not have to cram it all in one night.
As for in the Boy department Find their likes and dislikes and try to enjoy what he wants rather than force him to do what you want. But don't waste too much time no them right now as your school is more important :)

Study hard and don't let the 8th graders push you around. Do your work and steer clear of "the stupid crowd". Most of all have fun dude!! The older guys like "fresh meat" if they try anything, kick them in their MEAT. There are going to be lots of relationship changes in junior high but you got to stay on top of the game.
Good Luck!!

Be yourself, Say no to drugs and booze/beer (I can't believe I have to say that to someone so young), Study your books, Keep your eye on the prize (good grades), no sexual contact at all until you are married (no matter what he says), don't let them touch you unless it is a pat on the BACK (no butt touching), report all unwanted touching to your teacher or principal (remember the last 3 letters in principal spell PAL), but most importantly, HAVE FUN. You are so young and should still be enjoying small things like sleep overs and dolls!!! Leave boys for 10th and 11th grade (still no touching though).

don't be scared. going to a new school and starting a new grade is all about growing up and everyone goes through it. as for the advise with boys, don't worry about them, you have all the time in the world to worry about guys. just study hard and do the best you can. make some new friends and have as much fun as you can, life only gets harder.

Hey you know what the most important thing to do is have fun and be a kid. Remember that there is going to be days that you hate school and there will be days they you love it. Just make sure that you keep your values and don't let others led you in a direction that you don't want to go. Hope that helps.
