i suggest the new reinvented Imesh software application that can be downloaded for free at www.imesh.com It has no pop up or adware and has interaction capabilities with other users. Search their computer, view they profile, and find locaal users. Other programs that work alright include morpheus.com winmx.com limewire.com bearshare.com i use winmx for the deepest results as well as morpheus. Morpheus is user friendly but both of the deepest has problems and errors in software. good luck and watch out for fake software, pop up ads, and new licensing laws that are hindering play by attaching some crazy stuff to the file.

I Found ( DC++ ) to be even better than ( BITTORREN !), Or any other file share program out there!. It's based on private/public host's & Many Of Them ! Browse, Download Entire Directories If You Whant.

Step 1: First you are going to have to download Direct Connect. Now there are several versions of direct connect and here are the best two..

Neo-Modus Direct Connect: http://neo-modus.com
DC++ : http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net


Once you have download 1 of those 2, install it.

Step 2: Now that you have installed it, open the one you picked either DC++ or NMDC (Neo-Modus Direct Connect) and click:

1st)

FOR NMDC: Click The SETTINGS Tab (and put in the appropriate info)
FOR DC++: Click FILE, SETTINGS (and put in the appropriate info)

2nd)

FOR NMDC: Click Connect
FOR DC++: Click File, Then Public Hubs

Step 3: Now you need to pick a hub. Use this list, here. " I Use "emulforums.servegame.com".



Step 4: Now that you have picked a hub, you must type it in:

NMDC: Type it in the connect box and press enter.
DC++: Type it in the Public Hubs right text box and press enter.

Step 5: Now that you are in the hub. There is a list of users on the right side. Right click on one of them and for:

NMDC: Click: Browse Users Files
DC++: Click: Get file list

Notes: It may say NO FREE SLOTS. Each person assignes himself the appropriate amount of slots for a hub. A slot is basically the amount of people that can download off of the person. So if the person assignes himself with one slot, only one person can download off of him. 2 slots, 2 people and so on.

Step 6: Select a file from the user and double click on it to download. It will then appear on the download tab on the bottom for both softs.

Step 7: Now that is not the only way to download files off of people or finding them. As you can see there is search button on the top for both softs. You can search ANY ROM YOU WANT and it will start downloading once its on the list and you double click on it depending on if the person has any slots available.
