Actually, it already is unavoidable, when creatures live so long on a planet that take up resources too fast because there are too many of them*humans*, they take away things that are necessary to keep the environment and climate the same, and also the earth rotates and it's orbit changes, so not only are we causing a problem, but that will with time

Global climate changes have happened before, and will happen again. Read up on the subject -- it's quite fascinating. As for it becoming unavoidable, it is something that we, as humans, have very little effect on, despite what the proponents of the Kyoto Accord say. That said, it would be nice to clean up our environment, and reduce our emissions so as to enjoy the best possible living conditions before another global climate change comes, whether we want it to our not.

Global climate change has already started: earth temperature has been rising to an historic record for the last decades, ice-cap in north and south poles have already melt a lot, and the number of hurricane and other weather disasters is growing up every where around the world.
But we still can limit the future changes. If we do nothing, future changes will be far more dramatic that they currently are. But if we change the way we use energy and we reduce the CO2 gas production, we may reduce or even revert the changes done.

If it's evident... it will happen!
It becomes unavoidable when "Mother Nature" says it is so!
All we can do is be prepared for the inevitable, should it occur. Avoidance is not an option... (nor is it even remotely possible)!

Humans are unable to effect climate change. That's the result of every reputable research into the issue.

Global warming is fraud.
