curly hair is determined by the shape of the hair follicle not the hair shaft itself. Hair is produced beneath the scalp and is forced through the hair folloclel opening.
The shape of the follociall opoening is what determins if hair is curly or straight.a completly round opening is straight hair the more oval the shape the curlier the hair will be.
hair will appear "straight" when it is short cause it lacks the leanth to show the bend that has formed beneth the scalp.
For some children may also loose curl with too much leanth once hair has weight it can loose its curl. this is commen but not the case with everyone.
your son should have his curls back once it grows out as he gets older he may opt to have short hair to give him some control
over the curls in his hair.

Sometimes those adorable curls are only around when the child is an infant. I was born with curly hair, my mom never cut it but it actually grew out straight. I would just wait and see. But most times fine baby curls because it hasnt thickened yet.

No it will grow back curly. The curl is the shape of your follicle. If it's round, your hair is straight; if it's oval, it's curly or wavey. Also, sometimes when boys get older and they shave their heads, the hair will come back more curly than it was before. Don't worry. His curls are still there.

Alright, I had Shirley Temple curls when I was an infant and on. I grew my hair out, and it got very wavy, but still curly at the bottom. I recently cut ny hair considerably short, expecting straight hair, but my hair is as curly as it was when I was younger. So, I don't know, but curly hair usually stays around. Good luck-and a lucky little guy you got there!

Once curly always curly, it may look straight as it grows out but when it reaches a certain point it will be curly again. My son's has done this for 24 years.

they will grow back curly. curliness, non-curliness has to do with the root/follicle of the hair. located deep down, not on the surface. the follicle can change with age and hormones and puberty, but cutting the hair has nothing to do with it. cutting hair is just cutting the grown out part of the hair. curl is determined by the follicle.

Yes this can be true for some cases. Thick naturally curly hair will return but thin loose curls that's barely there may not.

I guess it depends on the child and genetics. I cut my son's adorable curls when he was about 3. He's 15 now and no curls.

i do no longer believe it really is really conceivable to make your hair boost faster, although you would make it boost healthier. I actually have lengthy hair, and at a particular element, it starts getting undesirable. Of route, trims are straight forward to carry your hair wholesome, although ensure that you in reality are not any more trimming your hair better than it grows. you may oftentimes ask your stylist to in reality trim probable the most minimum volume at the same time as you bypass in. For me, it quite is many times merely area an inch. I also not frequently type my hair employing a blow dryer or warm temperature. the better you take advantage of the blow dryer and warm temperature which contain your hair, the better more often than not you may get trims, and the slower it's going to take up your hair to augment. I also wash my hair in the early evening so it has time to dry at evening time in the previous than i could be anyplace. I wash my hair each and each diverse day, provided that washing too more often than not will dry hair out. For the cases i do no longer wash my hair, I merely clip it up in the bathe. some new concerns that i'm making an attempt: Combing my moist hair with a desire instead of a broom provided that hair is larger fragile at the same time as it really is moist and the brush breaks hair a lot less complicated. reliable reliable fortune!

I have never heard of this. But I will agree with the previous respondent in that a child's hair has varying degrees of thickness throughout his upbringing. Generally, thicker hair is more likely to be curly. My kids started with straight, thin hair and as they got older it got thicker and curlier.
