I used to really like the Feline Pine (or the Trader Joe's variation) before I got a little kitten. I liked the fact that you could re-use it as garden mulch when it came time to clean the litter box out, but the kitten would kick the litter all over her face when she was using the box, and she developed a few eye infections because of it.

I have started using Fresh Step scoopable, and I really like it because it doesn't seem to take as long to scoop now as the pine stuff did way back when. Just make sure you keep the water dishes far away from the box so if your cat spills her water, it won't glue any stray litter to the floor. It's not fun to try to clean it up after it's gotten wet.

The kind that are crystals. There are a few different brands (if you go to Petsmart). They are really good, but pretty expensive for a small jug. But it also last a little longer. And there is less scooping because urine is absorbed by the crystals. It just depends on how many cats you have.

I use the electric litterbox now...with Littermaid brand litter. It really does work best with the electric. I tried several other clumping kinds, but they didn't do the job as well.

I have 6 indoor cats and the best cat litter that I have found is EverClean... It's a bit expensive, but worth every penny. It's a premium clumping litter..Works great...

I found that Scoop Away is the best overall. We have 2 cats. We live on a boat, so odor is a major concern because of the small space. Dust can a bit of a problem but not if you have a covered litterbox. I tried a lot of products. The 'crystal' stuff is ok but expensive and made of plastic.

Well we use Fresh Step clay litter and it works great. We also purshased a litter locker its kind of like a diaper genie for diapers and we dont have to be throwing out the litter every day we just put in the litter locker and it stayed there till you are ready to throw it away. We doit every 2-3 weeks.

I use a combination of clay litter with scoopable layered on top. I have 3 cats and this seems to work best, with twice a day scooping as well.

I use Tidy Cat Scoop-able at the moment.
The best ones though are the ones that are all natural like Swheat Scoop, Yesterdays News, etc. They may be a bit more pricey, but they bio degrade unlike the clay and crystal versions.

I like to use Tidy Cats or Johnny Cat (which is less expensive). I don't like to use the "clumping litter" because it clumps so hard that it sticks to the scooper and makes an even yuckier mess!

fresh step cat litter I find clumps better than the Tidy Cat which is important because if it all falls apart then the box starts smelling like ammonia.
