That would depend on your personality and lifestyle. Many people have won immense amounts of money in lotteries over the years, and quite a few of them have said the additional worries such money brings was not worth it (of course, as far as I know, none have felt this way so strongly as to give the money back), Those additional worries include:
1. Solicitations from everyone iand their brother, wanting a piece of "your good fortune";
2. Being rich turns your family into potential kidnap targets;
3.Higher taxes, and having to hire someone to manage the money you've won, so Uncle Sam doesn't get more of a chunk than they already are owed:
4. Old friends treating you differently, because they dont want you to think they're after your money;
5. New friends sucking up to you, because all they DO want is your money; Not to mention, your constant suspicion that whoever has anything to do with you is doing so only because you're rich now.
Distrust in friends and family is a huge factor when this sort of windfall occurs. So, it all depends how secure and confident in your loved ones you are. But frankly, I'd like an opportunity to find that out for myself.

I think winning the lottery would change my life, for the better. I would put every penny in an interest bearing account, and live off the interest. I would quite my job, and spend all my time doing things that are fun and relaxing. That sounds great, doesn't it.

The beauty of it is, if you had your head in the right place, you could change many lives through donating a portion to charity in addition to helping family members and community groups. With the attitude of gratitude it could be a beautiful thing.

For better if you know what to do with the money. Secure and invest but never get greedy and make your life revolve around the money.
