No. Windows XP Media Center Edition is only available to the makers of computers. At this point in time, you have to buy a computer with the software on it.

Media center is a hardware. You will be better off buying a new tower. If you are able to locate the cd version, it is not a guarantee that your current computer will be compatible. Good Luck.

The best way is that through your employer they have computer buybacks and software sharing programs that will allow you to buy the same type of OS at a reduced rate.
