Could be lots of things..... a virus, low iron, vitamin B deficiency, too many carbs or even depression. There are a lot of things that can cause the lack of motivation. you might want to explore this with you doctor.

Life is short! Look in the mirror and then come back to your computer.................OK. Does what you see in the mirror: A. make you happy, or B. does it make you want to run towards the nearest living thing and kill it? If you answered B, then its time to wake up. I'm not sure how old you are, but if you've gained 60 pounds, then your no spring chicken to say the least. You have to wake up. If youre not happy with what you've become then it is not ok. The good thing is that there is always time for a solution. It doesnt matter if your 16 or 61. Working out is not only good for the body, but for your very soul. Not that I'm a gigantic health nut, but seriously, no one likes the ugly person. Its time to wake up and do what you know you need to do. Fast food is over, as is drinking or any drugs that your taking, youre killing yourself. Set a goal for yourself and adhere to it as if it were your electricity bill or rent. Think about, with your regular monthly bills, if you do not pay them, you lose something. Right? This is the same f-**ing thing. If you continue to gain weight, you lose. Its that simple. if you need some extra motivation, how about this:
If you get your fat *** on a decent diet and stick to a 5 day workout, you'll lose weight. Heres the contest, if you lose those 60 pounds within 90 days, I'll send you a check for a thousand dollars. That sounds like a good deal to me.

Maybe a new hobby - it doesn't even have to be something you have to get out and do, just something that sparks your interest and gets you out of your funk.

Maybe try a new book that gets your mind thinking - a type you haven't tried before (and not one that is sad).

Maybe just fill up the bird feeder and sit outside and watch the birds. Start getting back outside slowly, enjoy the fresh air and the sunshine.

Getting started is the first step. Losing weight, going to the gym, getting back out into the world, that will all come with time.

Hang in there. This, too, shall pass.

Start with baby steps, perhaps just a walk around the block and a few situps or something. Don't try to do it all at once. Maybe even sign up for a race or something that gives you something to shoot for. Maybe you also need some change in your life, perhaps you're stuck in a rut. If you're really down, make sure you get help.
