My dad and I spent the past 5 years rebuilding it. It is in amazing condition and sounds beautiful. How much has all of our hard work done for us? I would like to know if I should hang on to it and let the value go up or sell it.

If its truly mint, its worth quite a bit. The actual price will depend on a lot of things, such as convertable vs. coupe, engine/transimission package, interior, how original it is, numbers matching, and so on. A good mustang can go for $40,000 or better if done right.

Depends on the engine and model (Mach, Cobra, etc). Probably between 10-15k if it's a basic model V8 in great condition.

don't worry about the value, the car is pretty rare, and in 10 years the price could double, but you know it won't drop. keep it, unless you have to sell it, cars are a great investments. oh, and maybe check some mustang forums, you can learn alot about value, and potential value.

I would shoot for $15,000. You could have an appraiser look at it for you.
