I know several Aussie/American married folks and they do fine. Nobody here can tell you yes or no, but good luck!

You have never been together. Never been around each other...you need to be...that counts for allot.

When you meet, things can shift. See how that goes first. If that goes well and you work together, then take another step...explore the possibility!

Would I move to Australia to be with someone I fell in Love with?
I probably would if everything was right.

There needs to be a life for you there, so I would explore being there next. Go there for a while and spend 2 days just exploring it on your own...do you like it do you fit...do you feel at home...

What about friends and family? Are you ok with the distance?

Best wished to you..can I come visit? :)

You have to meet, of course, preferably more than once before you should try to decide whether this is ITor not. I hope it all goes brilliantly for you, though. Don't be afraid of a bit of awkwardness when you first meet - on both sides, probably. It's only natural when you start by getting to know the soul before the looks and mannerisms.

All my best wishes :))

Don't let your love be held back by nationalities. If you love him and he loves you then the relationship will survive. There will probably be complications, but you will make it through them all as long as you believe that you will. That's the best that I can tell you.
