YES YOU HAVE FREEWILL... You can ether accept or reject Jesus Christ. The choice is yours.

What God did...

Think of it this way... Imagine you're in a courtroom again, you're guilty of many serious crimes. The judge says, "It's a fine of $500,000, or prison." You don't have anywhere near that amount of money, so the bailiff begins to walk you out of the courtroom when someone you don't even know appears. He runs up to the judge with a check and says, "I've paid the fine for you." Now that the fine has been paid, the law no longer has any hold on you. You're free -- because of the gift you were given.

This is what God did for you by sending Jesus to die on the cross in your place. So that you wouldn't have to go to Hell, God sent his only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross -- suffering the punishment that justice demands. Then He rose from the grave, forever defeating death! The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) If you will repent of your sins and put your trust in Jesus, God says he will forgive all your sins and grant you the gift of everlasting life. Just like the court case we just talked about, if you repent (that means to confess and forsake your sins) and put your trust in Jesus, then you will not have to suffer God's justice in Hell because the payment for your crimes was made by Jesus on the cross.

If you're not sure what to pray, read Psalm 51, and make it a model for your prayer. The words are not "magical," what God cares about is the attitude of your heart. When you pray, it should sound something like this, "Dear God, I repent of all my sins, such as (name them). I put my trust in Jesus Christ as Lord (to say Jesus is your Lord means you are now making Jesus the master over your life) and Savior. Forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."

Now read your Bible daily, and obey what you read. God will never let you down.

What should you read? We suggest that you start in the book named "John," and then read the one named "Romans." Whatever you decide to read, make sure you read every day.

That's a very difficult question to answer. This debate has gone on for generations. Are we in fact a sum of our parts or is there deus en machina?
Here's a little tidbit to ponder: the reason Lucifer was cast down is because he offered an opinion to God one time. His thoughts were that the best way to keep humanity from sinning is to deny them free will.
Currently, it's believed that Lucifer likes you to sin as it brings emotional fulfillment. And what kind of loving "god" would give you the ability to make a choice, then condemn you for choosing wrongly. If you do so believe we do not have free will, are you submitting to God's little torture expiriment or are you siding with the devil?

We definitely have FREE WILL because we can chose to do what is either right or wrong. God gave satan free reign over the earth. If we didn't have free will, we would simply be robots forced to serve a God we never really knew. But instead, he wanted us to make a choice so we can truly love Him and Know Him for ourselves. Even in our respective environments with all its limitations, we still have choices. So yes, we definitely have free will.

We are made in the image and likeness of God. He made us just a little bit lower than himself. And yes we obviously have free will. How else do you explain this whole yahoo answers site, or the internet, or how you can ask whatever you want and I can respond however I like. Maybe you need a clearer understanding of what our "will" is. We humans are in fact a 3 part being. We are a spirit we have a soul (which is our mind, will, and emotions) and we live in a body.

The fact that we have free will is the reason that we have to be invited or even entreated to ask God to be our Lord and savior, otherwise we'd all be happy-go-lucky Christians running around just spending some time on earth then going back to Heaven. The fact that there is so much sin, pain, and horror in this world is testament that we have free will.
God's nature is that He is love; love is described in the bible in ICorinthians 13, which includes honoring and respecting one's choices-that's why God doesn't force us to be "saved"; we have to choose Him, and you may have to find yourself in a "foxhole" before you realize that deep in your heart you believe in God.

How can you say God only has free will! Scientifically where is the proof of a God. Are you thinking that Dinosaurs are not for real and that Zionists planted them around the globe.

Where is your evidence that humans are only genes plus environment? That would mean that identical twins raised in the same family would always be the same. But sometimes one can be heterosexual and one homosexual.
I think you are thinking that free will may be strongly influenced but that does not mean it does not exist.

God and people are the same. We have free will and to prove it, think of what you think. You do what you want to do. We are made of cells and genes but we think and we act. Free will are thoughts and actions of your choice. In simpler words, Free will is everyone's CHOICE.

Both us and God have free will, if we didn't we wouldn't be making our on choices on what to eat and whatnot. We just don't have the power to create the universe and everything in it the way we see fit, God has that power.
