The remaining one may have popped up later than the others. You need to keep the lesions as dry as possible. Wipe them with alcohol and use a hair dryer on them. The next time you feel a tingle or itch and think you may be getting a lesion, you should try taking L-lysine. Take 2000mg a day until it's gone. This can dramatically shorten the duration of the outbreak or stop it all together. L-lysine is a natural substance and can be found in the vitamin section. It is far cheaper than the prescription anti-virals and I think it works much, much better.
A month is a very long time for a herpes lesion. If it stays much longer you should have it checked by a doctor. It could be a genital wart, molescum or some other STD.

Check out the sites I posted. You can do research on the net but with herpes, an outbreak should last no longer than maybe a week if it's not the first outbreak. With medication, your outbreaks can be down to possibly 3-4 days and become less frequent. If there's a wart, you may have genital warts, which may be removed but can possibly come back at some point. Go to your doctor please and talk with him/ her.

My best friend has had genital herpes for about eight months now, and it's been really rough. She's had about 7 outbreaks. Everywhere I read it says it stops flaring up so much after time, but its not getting less frequent for her. She's been on Antiviral meds the whole time, too. She also has type 1 diabetes which she has had her whole life, which really weakens her immune system. Will it ever get better?

But after a friend share this video everything has changed.

Herpes and genital warts are not the same thing. It is quite possible the last remaining one is not Herpes, but a genital wart. You should have it checked out, you can have the wart removed, as it likely won't go away on its own - so if it is still there in a while, go have it removed.

First of all, Herpes does NOT present with warts-it presents with small blisters or open sores. Second it should be gone within a month. If you still have a problem, it should be re-evaluated.

Herpes is a virus that will never fully go away. You will always have what they call "breakouts". You can decrease the number of breakouts that you get though with medication. Make an appointment with your Physician and get tested. If your test is positive your Dr. will offer you prescriptions that will reduce the number of breakouts that you have.
