What matters is you do it safe... with someone who wants to... And its best if you work up to it ie first, second, thirs base over time rather then getting stressed out on the night so its a natural progression... Ie already used to seeing each others bits and playing with them and making out... before you go all the way WHILE ON THE PILL.

Sex of about warmth and affection not marriage and babies...

If you dont believe me try maths...

do a ratio of the amount of times humand do a sex act in their life and the number of babies they have.

Marriage is about making layers and wedding planners rich, giving the above cult control over your life.

And usually leads to divorce... better to spend that cash on a house

I'd never sleep with someone I don't think I'd be with forever. Hopefully it will work out that the only guy I ever sleep with will be my husband. It may not, but we will have been in a long-term relationship, and I will know I loved him dearly.

I think sex before marriage is okay as long as it's with someone you intend on being with forever, you love dearly, and you use protection until you want children. I'm still kinda traditional I guess, but in this day and age when a lot of couples don't marry, but rather cohabit long-term and have children together, waiting until marriage isn't always an option.

I definitely object to promiscuity.

And no, I'm not religious.

having sex before marriage won't do you any favours. It can only give instant gratification and then what?. the possible consequences are:
- a feeling of worthlessness,
-realising you didnt really love the person,
- getting bored with the person,
- realising that sex isnt exactly whats in the movies and its over before you know it but you can live with the possible ill (STDs, pregnancies) forever.

If you are willing to wait, there'll be strength available to do so. and you'll never ever regret it..never! Sex is a covenant between two people, hence the shedding of blood at first time and the attachment felt to one's first lover. Sex was created to be enjoyed by two people committed to each other, body and soul, so that there'll be a complete and whole union of body, soul and mind...what can be more explosive and passionate?....

No. It is a personal choice. I don't know any non-religious person who would say it was wrong, although there may be one or two who wouldn't do it personally. I have a problem with promiscuity but if you are in a solid relationship then I don't see a problem. I don't believe you should go and have sex with anyone and everyone, I do think you should be in a relationship. However, that is just my opinion and if you choose to do that, that's up to you.

no I don't think sex before marriage is a problem. You can love so many people so why just wait for one. What if you don't want to be married but still have sexual feelings? And also don't you want to know what you're doing, shouldn't the sex on your wedding night be some of the best?

well, don't just trying it for the fun. Make sure the love is passionate. and only do it with one you're almost sure you're going to spend the rest of your life with. I would say yes, but if you are going to do it, use your head and think about it first. Dont listen to me though really you have to make that decision yourself. Or if you cant figure it out consult with your preacher or pastor.

And for everyone who says stuff like (you dont buy a car without test driving it or you dont buy clothes without trying them on) why the heck are you comparing love and marriage, 2 of the most important things in life to clothes and cars??????????

No because what if you married first and he wasnt any good? Then you would have to have affairs and that would be wrong. So start off wrong and have sex before marriage. You wouldnt buy a car without test driving?

That is a personal decision you must make all by yourself. If church is a big influence in your life, you can listen to your pastor, if you want to. However, when it's time to take a relationship to intimate levels, as long as you and your mate are consenting adults and feel the need, many people feel it's only natural to express yourself physically. Use a condom, though!

As long as you love and trust the person that you are going to have sex with, go for it. It's your life. It's all about making the right and wrong choices and living with them. Take care.
