Why is it that mostly white folk are the ones so upset about the Mexican coming to America(nooffense 2 white)?

Its so funny to me!Wasn't the Mexican/Native Americans here first they are the orignal Americans until Columbus and his "partners" came here and rape,steal and commited genocide on the original Americans. Then some folks will say we built his country and I say yes with 400 years of free labor from the African you kidnap! I think that you'll need to chill out you've done a lot of "So-called" minority terribly wrong and all they want to do is work for you and your upset! Chill out folks

it is because most of them had never been through the same discrimination which Latinos and blacks are victims of TODAY , so it is hard to understand sometimes what they think never could happen to them . it is today when blacks and Latinos are more likely to be stop in a traffic violation , it is today when the abuses occur .

i think that we as human beings should be more compassionate to one another and should remember that even if blacks or other races are not as victimized today as yesterday they are still victims of the same today .

it is also because they know that if they give the rights to Latinos which they deserve for being humans they would have a voice and the abuses to the minorities would have to be stop which is what they are really afraid of , they seem to like having people whit out rights .

Mexicans ancestors were not in the North american part that is currrent day USA. They were south natives I believe.

Columbus never raped, nor his partners. Very little is known about him but from the looks of it he just looked around. And he had every right to be there since the Native americans never built any immigration/illegal immigration laws. So technically Columbus was well in his rights to walk upon North & South america.

No, all they want to do is commit an illegal act and ruin our economy. Many black activisits are leading this anti-illegal immigration thing since it is taking away from black jobs. Another reason why we aren't racist.

I have no problem with legal immigration. It is illegal immigration that we have a problem with. Many Blacks, Mexican-americans, natives, etc.. are mad at these illegals. And yes I know for a fact. If they want to come here, come here legally

and no we aren't immigrants, I was born here so I am not an immigrant.

Ok, I personally have never had any slaves and my family has not been here for 400 years. But they did come here LEGALLY, they were immigrants, the first thing they did was learn ENGLISH. When they got sick, they went to doctors and hospitals and THEY PAID. They did not expect the American government to paid. Then they became citizens.

I am not upset about legal Mexicans coming here. I am upset about a border that allows anyone to cross, including thieves, murderers and terrorists. And I am not saying all illegal Mexicans are in the above list. But, if you come here illegally, it appears you can't come here legally and so are trying to hide it.

Now what aggravates me, is that you seem to say, that some time some white people in the past committed wrongs and therefore the punishment should be inflicted on the current people who did nothing wrong. We can not change the past. But we must work on today and tomorrow.

So lose the attitude.

Wow, you really signed up with the 'hate whitey' people, didn't you? How do you feel about what Spain did to mexico, and all the fun stuff that mexico's done to their own indians? Oh, and let's not forget the aztecs themselves, boy, do they ever know how to throw a party! Mexico's after nothing less than FULL rights in america, despite retaining their old citizenship. And, they're not above some plotting to get it.
And some violence. And some fraud. And some theft. And and and and. Which is why people are feeling defensive about the whole thing. Furthermore, why do I have to pay someone to get my garbage to the curb, or my lawn mowed? What's up with that? Do I have to pay someone to carry my groceries to my car, now, by law? Mexicans need to fix mexico, and stop trying to wheedle, demand, and harangue america into giving them what they want. To hell with that. Fix mexico, and stop bitching about america. It's not like the United States hasn't ALREADY dumped billions we don't actually HAVE into mexico's corruption-ridden economy, but to little or no avail, apparently, and MILLIONS of mexican immigrants are already working and living in america, both legally and otherwise, and they've got designs on the Whole Enchilada, not just 2 bites. I don't think it is mostly white folk who are so upset about the possibility of illegal aliens receiving amnesty. I have heard several legal immigrants from all over the world call into radio stations insane with rage over the issue. Not because they have anything against Mexicans. They are angry because they did it the hard way, the right way. They felt citizenship in America was worth the effort and therefore made the effort.

why is it mostly white folks that get upset? because it is mostly white folks that pay all the taxes that support 12 million illegal immigrants that use public services and pay no taxes. White folks are tired of going to work just so they can pay taxes to support deadbeats who want to collect off the system. don't let the poor illegals fool you. while 16 families are living in one house all the men are working yes, but since they are undocumented all the women are collecting welfare. and guess who is paying for all that? with our economy the way it is today do you really think a family of four (4) can survive on 2.00 an hour(= 5.25 hr after taxes). get real ,they are raking in the dough and we ALL are the poor suckers that are paying for it. especially people like you that are too ignorant to know the facts, I frankly don't care how many immigrants are in this country but I don't want to financially support any of them I suggest to you that you do some serious research on the drain on our economy that 12 million non taxpaying people have created. also the drain on government funded programs.

The majority of Americans regardless of their racial background are hypocrites to begin with. We dont want illegal immigrants, but we dont mind paying someone well below the going price to put shingles on our roofs. We cant have it both ways.

And the other thing is that if it is so easy for poor people, be it Mexican, Chinese, African, etc. to get in here without detection, then what would make it much harder a terrorist who probably has financial backing to come in and set up shop?

Illegal immigrants take jobs from African-Americans(AA) by working for less money than an AA would take. Thus depriving an AA from moving up the economic ladder and driving down wages for all workers. If there were less potential employees employers would have to pay more to fill those jobs.
Please take a sociology course, 85% of Mexicans are of Spanish decent.
I am of French descent and still upset about the Romans (Italians) enslaving my people back in 320 A.D.

i think that there are people upset about this on all sides. The media likes to turn it into a white versus mexican thing, especially here in San Diego, because that's the angle that they feel will draw the most attention.

As far as them only wanting to work for us, i don't think that you've heard the whole story.

They want Amnesty.

They want us to acknowledge the fact that they are in our country ILLEGALLY, say "oh, don't worry about that.... you can break the law, you don't have to follow the rules."

They don't want to have to pay into social security, but they do want the health care benefits that they would get from working.

They don't want to pay taxes, but they want free education for their children.

They don't want to have to learn the language but they will often get upset if you don't understand them.

Illegal immigration is a burden on our society.

As for me, I don't have problems with immigrants as long as they came here legally. That's the thing. This amnesty program is about rewarding those who broke the laws. They're also trying to claim legal rights that they shouldn't have. If you look at the way legal immigrants are treated in mexico and you see the mexican government complaining about the way we treat their illegal citizens, you'd laugh. It's easy for an illegal immigrant to get a home loan here in the States, I've talked to people who moved to mexico legally and they aren't allowed to buy property. And then they say we should be fair?

Now to the more important question, Mexican, Spainards, Austrailan, Canadians, I don't care who comes, just do it legally if you wish to take away American Economy, and punish the employers who turn a blind eye to the laws, we have enough bad economy as it is, trade going overseas, poverty levels are rising, corporations aren't hiring full time hardly any more, along the blue collar lines, no benefits.
