It is true once saved always saved. Do you have that assurance?

Let's now look at some of those possible concerns. First, and of primary concern -- do you have "assurance" of your salvation? The Bible says to "make your calling and election sure" (2 Peter 1:10, italics added), so, let's go through a short "checklist" to make sure that you are truly saved:

Are you aware that God became flesh in the person of Jesus Christ (John 1:14, KJV), and that he died for the sins of the world?
Did you come to the Savior because you had sinned?
Did you "repent" and put your faith in Jesus?
Are you convinced that He suffered and died on the Cross and that He rose again on the third day?

God acquits us from the Courtroom of Eternal Justice on the grounds that Jesus Christ paid our fine. We are "justified" (made right with God) by His suffering death. The resurrection of Jesus Christ was God's seal of approval of the fact that His precious blood was sufficient to pay the fine.
Think of it this way... You have violated the law and face a $50,000 fine. You tell the judge that you are truly sorry for your crime, but he answers, "So you should be -- you have broken the law! Now, can you pay this fine?" He can only acquit you if the fine is paid. If someone else pays your fine, then he can let you go, but he must have "grounds" on which to release you.

The reason we need a substitute (a savior) to pay our moral "fine," is because we have broken God's Law. To see how much we have transgressed this Law (the Ten Commandments), we will go through some of them -- Have you ever told a lie? Have you ever stolen something? Have you ever lusted after another person? If you answered "Yes" to these questions, you admit that you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart, and you have to face God on Judgment Day! If you have used His name in vain, then you are guilty of "blasphemy" -- you've substituted God's holy Name for a curse word. Perhaps you've hated someone, then the Bible says that you are a murderer. You have violated God's holy Law, and you're in BIG trouble. On Judgment Day, you will be found guilty and end up in Hell. That's why you need the Savior. Merely being sorry for your sins, or confessing them to God won't help you. You must turn from sin (repent), and your faith must be in Jesus Christ alone. He is the only "grounds" for God to grant mercy towards you. If you're not sure of your salvation, make Psalm 51 your own prayer.

I believe that if you turn away from God and Christ and no longer believe that Jesus saves us from sin you are lost. I think it goes something like this, he who believes and is baptized shall be saved. There is still free will to contend with, people can still choose not to believe. However, you are always welcomed back like a lost sheep to a shepard.

I believe that once you are saved, you are always saved.

You can be lost, confused or doubtful...but it all comes back to the Lord. Once you make that commitment you cant break it. Its like a marriage, you cant divorce the Lord.

Lack of know-how approximately what the loose reward fairly includes and its complete that means aren't with ease understood through all. People nonetheless desire to paintings for it, they desire hook up with G_d on a human stage now not a religious and individual one. When they fail to outline salvation and appear each place recognized to guy besides G_d to uncover out who G_d is rather of being nonetheless. I am so responsible of this, so I am now not pointing arms. People check out it like they're making an attempt on an outfit and once they detect that there's extra to it then that, typically they start to detect that lack of know-how is bliss. Another factor is that salvation is a loose reward that now not alot persons believe like they have got to take delivery of, you listen it at all times, persons don't desire to be outlined or quantified as "sinners". They desire to outline themselves as wise and type, although they're, that's now not why G_d calls persons. And logically, even I have got to admit that the bible isn't chronogically right from quilt to hide and that bothers persons who have to have the arena outlined in phrases of ordered chaos. I t simply makes it less complicated for them digest that their truth isn't all it cracked as much as be and that an extra damaged promise is what faith is delivering. it's difficult to reconcile the truth that persons harm persons and in some way whilst you deliver faith or political backing into the combo, it does now not sit down good with persons when you consider that taking a stance on faith for individual achieve, turns out intentionally false and cowardly determined and with out fostering the "individual facets that non secular religion is longing to advertise however customarily provokes hatred and misunderstandings. Even Jesus Christ defined how salvation and religion are misplaced within the parable of the 4 soils or the sower. Matthew thirteen 18"Listen then to what the myth of the sower way: 19When anybody hears the message approximately the dominion and does now not appreciate it, the evil one comes and snatches away what used to be sown in his center. This is the seed sown alongside the direction. 20The one that acquired the seed that fell on rocky locations is the person who hears the phrase and without delay gets it with pleasure. 21But because he has no root, he lasts handiest a short while. When challenge or persecution comes when you consider that of the phrase, he speedily falls away. 22The one that acquired the seed that fell a number of the thorns is the person who hears the phrase, however the issues of this existence and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful. 23But the one that acquired the seed that fell on well soil is the person who hears the phrase and is familiar with it. He produces a crop, yielding 100, sixty or thirty occasions what used to be sown." Sadly, even culture offerings could make or holiday the selection to hold the salvation stroll, you have got to outline it for your self, however intercourse is customarily viewed a exhibit stopper. Paul says Everything is permissible however now not each factor is "lucrative" relating to intercourse immorality and misplaced of alternative deal breakers. one million Corinthians 6:12 [ Sexual Immorality ] "Everything is permissible for me"—however now not the whole thing is lucrative. "Everything is permissible for me"—however I might not be mastered through something. There is not any query in my brain that forgiveness bothers persons a nice deal as good. Especially when you have obvious or witness injustice(s). Without greedy the element of forgiveness or even repentence it's going to be inconceivable to appreciate that the ones are 2 principal and ongoing day-to-day facets of the salvation stroll. Psalm a hundred thirty:four But with you there may be forgiveness; accordingly you're feared. Matthew 26:28 This is my blood of the covenant, that's poured out for lots of for the forgiveness of sins. Mark one million:four And so John got here, baptizing within the desolate tract vicinity and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. Luke one million:seventy seven to supply his persons the advantage of salvation by way of the forgiveness in their sins, I go away you with this wish that's within the freedom I proportion with individual non secular travel. one million Corinthians 10:23 [ The Believer's Freedom ] "Everything is permissible"—however now not the whole thing is lucrative. "Everything is permissible"—however now not the whole thing is confident.
