What difference does it make. What is it with skin color that gets people so upset? If you understood the message he taught you would see that it doen't matter. Black, brown, white or blue with pink polka dots the message is about love and excepting others for who they are that is what really matters. Get off the color kick and let his words into your heart.

Black as in race ,No but in color. His parent were Jews.1st.in Mt.2:13 they fled to Egypt they hid among the people, who were dark in color,in Egyptian art show that the people are more brown but some show that the Hebrews were slightly darker but alike. Also Paul was mistaken for a Egyptian in Acts 21:37-39 showing that they were very much alike in color.Even Moses was mistaken for a Egyptian Ex.2:19 Hope this helps.

he's described as being the heir to David and he was Jewish. Jews definitely are not black, but they are not white either. there are white Jews who have converted but the roots of the religious lie in a certain culture and race of people. There was 2 periods of exile in Egypt and northern Africa, there could have been some intermarrying between the Jews of Palestine and the northern Africans. It's entirely possible that he had some mixed blood in him, but highly unlikely that he was entirely black.

According to the geneologies in the Gospels according to Matthew and Luke, Jesus was of Jewish lineage, of the tribe of Judah, going back to King David and beyond. There is no direct evidence at all that there was black blood in His lineage. Of course, either way, He wasn't white :D

There can be no way that Jesus Christ was black. He was a descendant of Abraham so He was Middle Eastern.

Some of the answers say that Jesus had two Jewish parents; however, realize that only His mother was Jewish; His Father- well, to take a line from a book I heard about, I believe that He is the color of water....

Christ was Jewish. Probably, a little darker skinned than most Jews you see today. However, Christ's race is irrelevant. You should focus on his message.
Black, White, Jew, Arab, Asian. It makes no difference. it is only an intellectual game at best.

Historicly, Jesus was from a region inhabitted by Blacks as well as Arabs. But if I have my thoughts right, his mother, Mary, was decended from a line of royalty located further north. Though it's always a possibility, it's most likesly that Jesus himself was Arab.
