Because they are a private business and get to decide what they want to sell and what they don't want to sell.

hypocrisy is as old as humanity. Although i was taught in sunday school that sin was sin was sin and that none were greater than any other (except suicide perhaps), we tend to pick the sins of OTHERS as the worst sin. In my opinion graphic images of violence probably influence a child a lot more than lyrics to a song where the kids are mostly listening to the beat anyway. the focus walmart has on cds is no doubt hypocritical. i have seen cd's get a label for having fairly tame profanity of the expletive variety and yet movies with blatant violence or sexual refernces that contain more proifanity than these cd's sold at walmart. there will never be a logical answer to the double standard.

for the same reason a women/teacher can rape a male student and get 3 months probation but when a male/teacher rapes a female student he get 45 YEARS..... cuz the ppl that made the decision for the cd's are trying to hurt black/african american people with a twisted sense of what's right and wrong.

Wal Mart can sell PA CD's they choose not to do so. If this bothers you choose to shop somewhere else.

I agree it is strange and something I have never thought about. If it truly bothers you, you can write a letter to the company and perhaps they will change something. It's a bit silly however...

Because they can. It's their store and it's a free world. They can do what they want within the confines of the law of course.
