.....or christians....whatever term you prefer !
When answering peoples questions about our God or the only God they know for now. Can we not use plain english to explain what we are trying to say, and get to their levels of understanding whether high or low wherever they might be. It's called compassion and understanding. Not every reads the Bible you know ! And there's people really trying yo know God too ! They just might express it in a way that seems not so to you. Have patience..........
I do, and I also understand the importance of being scipturally accurate, that's so important for us, more so than it is for them, definately there is only one Way !
But lets just try to understand those who dont follow, or believe just yet, they might be your bro's n sistrs one day,( But for now how about sitting where they sit, and eating what and where they eat ), so that they might be saved .............. "The apostle Paul"
Everyones got questions, we did....

As a Atheist, I have been trying to understand what Christians mean by materialism and after many questions it seems it means many different things to Christians. So if Christians could explain what they believe it means to them, it would be very helpful to us non-religious folk.
Thanks for advising this to your fellow Christians.

I agree with you in the extent, that alot of people won't understand the parables, and they need to be walked through them, that is probably why many don't seek Chist, for the lack of understanding, it must be made to understand.
When christians go to other countries as missionaries, they have to learn a new language and find a common ground, to introduce Christ, we need to do the same here, because I believe if people would know what we were talking about to start with, the conversation would be more beneficial. They should also ask questions when they don't understand, and be explained the answers in a way they can.

I like it when religious people use the words of Paul to call me a fool. It means I won.

This is eloquently put and very compassionate. I wish more people could think this way.

Maybe we could give a scripture, but then they will call us bible thumpers.
