Life is evelasting to those who will believe...
What God did...
Think of it this way... Imagine you're in a courtroom again, you're guilty of many serious crimes. The judge says, "It's a fine of $500,000, or prison." You don't have anywhere near that amount of money, so the bailiff begins to walk you out of the courtroom when someone you don't even know appears. He runs up to the judge with a check and says, "I've paid the fine for you." Now that the fine has been paid, the law no longer has any hold on you. You're free -- because of the gift you were given.
This is what God did for you by sending Jesus to die on the cross in your place. So that you wouldn't have to go to Hell, God sent his only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross -- suffering the punishment that justice demands. Then He rose from the grave, forever defeating death! The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) If you will repent of your sins and put your trust in Jesus, God says he will forgive all your sins and grant you the gift of everlasting life. Just like the court case we just talked about, if you repent (that means to confess and forsake your sins) and put your trust in Jesus, then you will not have to suffer God's justice in Hell because the payment for your crimes was made by Jesus on the cross.
If you're not sure what to pray, read Psalm 51, and make it a model for your prayer. The words are not "magical," what God cares about is the attitude of your heart. When you pray, it should sound something like this, "Dear God, I repent of all my sins, such as (name them). I put my trust in Jesus Christ as Lord (to say Jesus is your Lord means you are now making Jesus the master over your life) and Savior. Forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."
Now read your Bible daily, and obey what you read. God will never let you down.
What should you read? We suggest that you start in the book named "John," and then read the one named "Romans." Whatever you decide to read, make sure you read every day.

Solomon (the wisest man on who ever lived) said that a man should be happy in his toil because that is all he has (toil) and that everything is folly because when you die your children will take over what you have built and they will carry it to ruin, so be happy in what ever you do, but realize that what ever you do on earth stays on earth. The only thing you take with you is your soul, its up to you where you go after your death is up to you, and whether you believe it or not the only to heaven is through Jesus . Jesus said, I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the father except through me. I'm sure you have heard that the wages of sin is death but what you may not have heard the other part of that verse that says that "the gift (its free) of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23) He also said that He came so that you may have life and have it more abundantly.
Jesus wants you to be happy in all that you do, he wants your life to mean something.
Everything comes into focus when you are saved, you don't have to become and evangelist or go around thumping your bible once a week. But some how everything takes on a new meaning.

Life is eternal through Christ, material things don't matter so much when you have the holy spirit.
Life is of the soul and joined with the spirit to create eternal life, that God promised to us if we accept Jesus Christ as our savior. If we believe he died on the cross for our sins. We ask for forgiveness, and truly mean that we are sorry for our sins, Then we will no longer be seperated from God. Only Jesus Christ can show us the way to an everlasting relationship with God.

The only thing we keep eternally is our souls and our love (or lack thereof) for God. When we enter into the second life, we take nothing with us because nothing in this world is worth anything up there. Everything we could ever need, being only God, is there so we don't need and really shouldn't want anything from this cursed world up in a place so perfect.

There is! The Bible tells us that God has prepared a place for us in Heaven. Streets of gold, walls of Jasper where there is no more sorry, pain, tears or death. We must realize that we do wrong things. That we sin against God. We have to believe that Jesus came to this earth to die on the cross and take our sins on himself. Then he rose again victorious over death. Then, we ask forgiveness for sin and ask Jesus to save us from Hell and give us a eternal life with Him. When we do this then we will have forgiveness of sin, a home in heaven, and a direct pray line to the Lord. Of course, you need to find a good church that preaches the Bible where you can learn about God and His plan for your life.

Matthew 16:19 tells us that if we want something to be eternal we need to have been given the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Matthew relates that with the keys of the kingdom whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven.
Families are one case. They are able to be bound together forever not just "till death do us part"
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints believes that the keys to the kingdom of heaven have once again been restored to the earth through Joseph Smith.

There is something more to life then living and existing. It is to love and care about others around you. Every person is equal, so don't be afraid to show positive feelings towards others. People you love are not the only once who deserve your care. If you love others, protect them, and you know you did something right, no matter what the outcome would be, you will be happy, and the others should be happy if you are happy because happiness is shared by others' smiles.

You can never keep the eternal. The eternal, by its very nature IS. I ask you: are you truly living (your life)? Who is it that exists? Who is living and existing as you? How are you living your life?

Nothing is eternal. Even the universe will someday collapse or fall prey to entropy.
