I really like the flavored coffee creams that you can buy at the store. I buy the liquid form of Coffe Mate brand creamer. Well, this morning I left the cream on the counter and went to work...

I'm wondering if the cream maybe went bad? I dont know if I should use it or throw it away. It wasn't hot in my house and it was not sitting near sunlight.

What do you think? I see at the gas stations where they sell coffee, the little containers are never refridgerated, so do you think this stuff it still good???

Coffee creamer is cheap. Don't chance it - is it really worth getting sick over saving a little money? Just buy some more.

When you buy the big containers, you're supposed to refrigerate them because you buy them cold. The ones you see in the little single serve containers are never refrigerated so they don't need it. They are non-dairy and it should be OK but it depends on how long you were gone and if you felt any cold left on the container at all when you got back. If you still feel cold, it should be ok otherwise toss it.

Yes, it is still good. Coffee Mates are not milk-based. The dairy part is what you have to worry about with spoiling. And even then, half the time my half & half survives hours on the counter at room temperature. Let your nose be your detective :)

I think it's still good, it might turn sour if leave it out too long, but don't think it will make you sick.

I have a rule for that sort of thing though:
When in doubt throw it away and buy new. I don't think of it as throwing money away, but paying money to not be sick.

Yes. It is still good. My social studies teacher keeps her creamer on her desk overnight and uses it every day.
