Depending on your computer or if you have a card reader that is connected to your computer, you can easily transfer images from your PC to you San disk card. It is best to insert the card into the appropriate slot on your PC or into the card reader you have connected to your PC. You do not have to worry about using the battery power from your camera doing it this way. All you have to do then is select the images on your PC, right click on them, select "send to". A drop down box will appear. Select the card you have inserted. The images will then be written to the card.

With most digital cameras, you can hook up the camera to the computer and it will be recognized as a peripheral device like your d: or e: drive. Open Windows Explorer (or whatever computer management program you use) and just drag and drop the files from your computer to the camera memory card.

You ought to be able to simply connect your camera to your PC and treat it like a mass storage device. However, if you cannot do this, then you will need a multi-media drive for your computer...they come internally or with a USB connection. Once you install it you will be able to treat your media cards just like a floppy disk and transfer images on and off at will.

if you have a newer operation system like WinXP, Win2003, Win2000 or winME your cameras sandisk will appear like a flash memory stick, if your operation system is older like Win98, Win95 you have to install the driver for your camera, wich is given to you with the box, or you may download it from sony website support pages.

file transfer is possible in both directions, also you can carry music and every type of docs to your cameras sandisk! enjoy it.

It is nice to know that you can but
I am still not sure why you would want to.
I think that you should store your pictures on a disc (it's a lot cheaper than buying memory cards).
