All I can say is that from my perspective, that rally hurt the cause more than it helped them. They've certainly lost my support.

Oh I really wish they would. I would bet the next rally would have a lot of anti illegal alien protesters. I also believe the employers would get a message from Americans that are tired of this BS.

Rallies not helping them? How about the "Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act?" Not only that, but the brevity of the debate in comparison to other more "urgent" issues. Sure it helped them. Open your eyes. American citizens think one way and the government think another way. Sure, if they leave roads and stores will be empty. But so will our fields and food shelves. At least before we pass other "comprehensive" bills to allow much of them to come and work again. That's coming from an American citizen, too. One that sees beyond the empty stores and roads.

Anyone who is illegal in this country has taken advantage of the hospitality of the American people and the Amreican governoment.
The fact that we use them as cheap labor is their choice too so I don't feel bad. The fact that they are demanding privileges in rallies across US is nothing but taking advantage of the kindness and hospitality of our citizens.
I no longer support them.

I think the soldiers of the IFMA (Invading Forces of the Mexican Army) should have another rally. How about at the national headquartes of the INS.

What's the point of protesting without looting businesses. Defeats the reason for leaving work unexcused

It definitely emptied some stores. I'm looking forward to the next "day without" so I can shop peacefully. It was very relaxing.

No. The more they rally the more they hurt their cause.
