The MEPS is a basic enlistment test to determine and/or eliminate jobs that your qualified for. They are not specifically looking for anything. Rather they are seeing what your strengths and weaknesses are, so that you will not be placed in a job that you cannot do. This does not, however, mean that just because you don't qualifiy for a job that you wanted, that you cannot edjucate yourself and later on, move into that position.

If you haven't done your ASVAB, then you'll take that. They do physical test like check your height and weight, in some case body fat percentage, health history, career intrest (the higher you ASVAB the more choices), and they make sure you are physically and mentally capable of basic, which isnt to hard in the air force or navy
