It just happens to be that Muslims are the ones over there in the middle east blowing every thing up and causing a bunch of chaos. So, there's some dumb people out there that associate all Muslims with violence/terrorism no matter where they're located in the world. It's sad, but true. For quite awhile back in history, Muslims and Christians lived peacefully next to each other. Muslims didn't try to convert Christians. It was when Christians started to convert Muslims that it all became an issue. But really, we are quite close brothers in faith, if you study religious history. The only people that disagree are the Christian fundamentalists and the Taliban (i.e. the radicals of the two). Everone else just wants to live in peace. And ironically enough, George W. Bush is a Christian fundamentalist. So, we of course have ourselves in a big delimma. Hopefully, all this stuff will be over soon.

Christians don't hate Muslims. Christianity teaches love and compassion...something which seems to be glaringly absent from Islam. How can one religion be so arrogant as to think Christians have nothing better to do than waste time hating anybody let alone Muslims? The people who hate are no more Christians than are the people who are tolerant of others Muslim. It seems that Muslims are extremely quick to be martyrs and have the belief that everyone hates them. Personally, this is the extent of how much I'll think about Muslims for the next year or so.

I think you do hate christians by the way that you worded the question. I am a christian and do not appreciate you putting me in the category of "all" christians. You have christians and then you have hippocrates. Christianity is about love for all things. As a christian I do not hate muslims. I don't know enough about muslims to have an opinion honestly,

You can't say Christians hate Muslims because you haven't met all the Christians in the world.

Excuse me but you are a little confused. Do you read the news ?
Christians do not hate muslims, muslims hate Christians.
In Afganistan a man wanted to convert to Christianity and the people over there wanted to kill him.
In Algeria, it is FORBIDDEN to preach Christianity.
Besides, what muslims are doing in Iraq, and what they did the 11 September 2001 to the towers of the World Trade Center, is not exactly something that gives a heavenly face to islam

I'm a Christian and I don't hate Muslims.... However, don't the Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet and not the savior? Meaning, the Bible says Jesus rose from the dead and doesn't the Koran state that Jesus never died on the cross - but was rescued, healed and then disguised himself afterward. That may be the difference and it's horrible that so many wars have been fought over religion. We all worship the same supreme creator - whether the word is God, Allah or Jehovah - Peace to you -

i"m not a christian so I can't say, but many christians believe their religion to be the only right one there is, same god or not. And since muslims believe Jesus to be a prophet, and not the mussaiah...or something like that, that they are heathens or something. Not many christians like the Jewish, and Judiasm is close to christianity....I think or maybe i'm just blowing smoke.

Didn't the Christians do the first act of hate with the Crusades back in the...12? hundreds, where the slaughtered many a aethist, muslim and other people all in the name of god?

We don't hate anyone, but we do get tired of hearing about Christians getting beheaded just for being Christian, especially like the recent incident in Indonesia of the 3 teen school girls who were chased down and beheaded with a machete by Muslims because they were Christian.

Why do Muslim countries have laws forbidding Christianity, but they expect tolerance from us Christians when they are in a mostly Christian country?

Out of ignorance. Since Muslims crashed into the world trade center, many blame all Muslims. They don't realize there are different sects of Muslims just like there are different sects of Christianity. There are ignorant people on both 'sides' of this and perhaps we could start by teaching our 'own' people better. As a Christian I know that we are to witness to others, but sometimes instead of saying, "can I get back to on that?" when we don't have an answer, we get mad feeling the one we witness to is trying to put us one the spot. When I witness, I just tell what God has done for me, that way the emotions are kept out of it.
