How come guys ask for my phone number but never call?

I saw a video of guys answering this question, they said they might feel obligated at the time or just want to be polite because they were talking with you for a while, they feel it is just the next step even if they dont intend on calling. Guys are just hard to figure out sometimes!

Guy's in general, are scared of girls/women, "We" myself included (before I I matured) , think that you want more than "we" are willing to offer at that point in time. Most men,are afraid of any kind of commitment. We feel that if we call on the next day,that you will think that we are desperate, and if we wait too long then you think we ware not interested. You need to remember a few things, 1) men are procrastinators. 2) scared of rejection and the younger guys especially, are only after quick thrills! This will change when they get older.
