There is no way to lose that much weight in that short a period of time, even with exercising.

Even if you starved yourself, you'd only lose 10 or 15 pounds.

If you've got 30 pounds of fat to lose, it took a lot more than one month to gain that fat.

If you haven't been active before, your body doesn’t have much muscle. That means any excess weight is fat. That also means that without muscle to burn calories for you, you are prone to gaining even more weight.

If you don’t exercise already, just start by walking, running, or biking. Work up to 4-5 times a week for 30 minutes. If working up to that level doesn’t change your body (or if you are already exercising that much) you have to be more careful of what you eat.

You should also keep a food diary. When you start, don't worry about counting fat or calories, just notice how much and what you are eating. But start learning which foods are best and worst.

Just seeing it written down can be a surprise - you don't always remember those candy bars, pastries, or soda until you see it on your tummy. Watching what you eat helps you stay focused and eat healthier.

First of all it is not healthy for a body to lose 30 pounds in a month. My wife lost 14 pounds one month through eating a lot of fruit during the day and finishing with chicken and salad for dinner to round out the nutrients and have enough protein to maintain muscle mass.

I would suggest detoxing, because a lot of the weight that you might have is excess stuff that your body hasn't been able to get rid of over the years. Drinking lots of water would be a good idea as well. But if you can invest in a 30 day detox program that you can find at GNC, that would be the way to go. You can eat what you want, but it allows your body to flush out all of the toxins and waste in your body. I heard that Colonix is a good product as well. Pricey, but very effective.

you can't. reduce your goals dramatically. be realisitic. a few pound at a time. pills are dangerous or have horrible side-effects. herbal remedies are mostly just scams. eat less, exercise more. that's the key

i lost weight doing this in one month and believe me when i say other than doing my normal walking i do not exercise. i drank tea and ate toast for 2 meals a day and for my snacks i also had this. i do not use butter on my toast so i put stuff like jams and jellies on it. one meal a day i ate a good meal. usually this was dinner. i did not go for seconds and did not eat anything 3 hours before i went to bed. so if i had a snack at 8pm i knew i was not going to bed before 11pm. so if you like tea and toast replace two meals a day and your snacks with this. also take a multi-vitamin.
