I don't see how this question was referring to Jesus, or Christianity, or any specific religion for that matter. Let's not overcomplicate things here. The question is much simpler than that. I, personally, used to believe that there is no God. But upon more serious reflection, I am finding it more difficult every day to believe that all of the intricacies and intense beauty in the world are one gigantic coincidence. Even the most intelligent and creative human being would be incapable of creating something that even comes close to the aesthetic and biological intensity that nature displays. Therefore, who are we to be so certain that it was all just an accident? Is everything so black and white? Does everything need to be set in stone to deserve our consideration? So far, I haven't seen an answer against God here that isn't lazy and oversimplified.

the truth and what i know about Jehovah
it is not that there is no god ,there are several
your God was an Anunnaki ,called the creator ,who started the Adam slave race ,to mine gold ,and the symbolic story that followed was to give these people a believable purpose for their origin and to control them.
the Anunnaki´s descendants have been trying to control the Human race ever since ,feeding the legend and hiding the truth.these are the Illuminati
this Anunnaki was hardly a God and neither were his Illuminati, Angels ,
and it is sad and blasphemous that all of these people have betrayed the Real Gods of this planet,
Although they have superimposed and based a lot of their invasive imaginary religion on the concepts of Baal and slandered the humanized representations of the character of Gaia ,
these are both Gods that can be seen everyday in all of their splendor and majesty.
Gaia .the world we live on ,from which all of life stems .
the Mother of all creations and the supplier of all what is needed to sustain these.
powered by the might of the Suns life-giving rays.
it has recently been discovered that sun spots are directly related to mayor Human events suggesting the depth of this Gods influence over Humanity.
how much more Godly or real can it get ,
so that would make you an Atheist in Pagan eyes ,
worshiping an Invasive extraterrestrial

I think there is no god, for the fact that since 2000bc, the world's more or less been in constant decline in morality and other things. The possibility of a being who is all powerful and all knowing, is zero, the only proof people have of him is a book written by unknown authors almost 2000 years ago, But the proof that he doesn't exist is even greater. One thing makes god even more unlikely, why did he pick that time to give Jesus to the world? why not at the start of man? what about all the people that lived before Jesus? and if you only believe Jesus as a prophet, then the rest works with that too.

Well, first you have to DEFINE the god, then you have to FIND the god. Neither has been done, so to accept the status quo (there is no god) is quite logical and really the only acceptable conclusion.

What makes you think there is no gaint slug made of cotton candy at the center of the earth? What? No proof of any slug, you say? There you go. I don't need anything to make me NOT believe. NOT believing something is just the natural state of any sane person, until it's proven otherwise.

The existence of things that exist is never legitimately questioned.
The fact you asked this question proves God does not exist.
If he existed, there would be no questions about his existence.

Personally I believe in God. If one does not believe, they have no soul, no love, no hope. God represents HOPE for all, LOVE for all, PEACE for all. not on this planet but after we leave here. Sometimes, you just have to believe!
