Green Olives are an awesome subsitute for pepperoni. They add the much needed salty flavor you don't get sometimes when you order a vegetarian pizza because too many picky eaters don't like olives, so pizzeria places forget to carry the green ones! :)

I recently tried pepperoni, capers and bay leaves on a deep-dish whole wheat crust. A LOT better than it sounded. The capers go very nicely with the tomato sauce.

Any kind of pizza is yummy! I enjoy sour kraut and bacon occasionally a pizzeria doesn't have kraut.

I love black olives, mushrooms, pepperoni, and ham. I think artichoke hearts would be excellent on that combination.
