Eat very healthy...lots of fruits & veggies. Keep sugar, fats & junk food to a minimum. A trick I learned is to drink a lot of water before you eat a meal so you feel full by just eating a small portion. I didn't really like to excercise but I do & feel very guilty if I don't. Walk as often as you can, park far away from the stores in the parking lots. I get up & do 30 to 50 stomach cruches every morning in my pj's beside my bed & find that I can do up to 100 now & it is only a few minutes a day. Overall, do a little bit of everything to achive big results. The key to watching the weight is to watch what you eat! Good Luck!

If you really want to you can do it. Eat 6 small meals a day, healthy meals, lots of fruit and especially vegetables. Treat yourself once in a while, something small, so you are not deprived and then exercise, exercise, exercise. Don't be impatient, the weight will come off. It did for me and I owe it all to the rebounder. Read this free report and then got one and have never looked back, it really does work, but like everything you have to commit to doing it and make it a lifestyle change. You have nothing to lose (but 30 lbs) so check it out and see if it is something you would like. Good Luck!

Cut out the bedtime snack, ya gotta do that, altho I'm having frosted flakes, dang it, lots of water like the girl below said, think of something else you want really bad, then when kids are eating you eat same portion!1 a kids meal, small size plate whatever! All $$ you don't spend eating, buy a cute pair of shorts, a little too small, keep saving then take those kids to where you want to go!! or whatever you saved for..? a hotel once a month? with a pool? or a puppy, he will help you get MORE exercize and eat leftovers!!! :>

It's not that you love food, you may be an emotional eater. Having kids stresses anyone out. The next time you put something in your mouth, ask yourself if you are hungry, if not, put the food down and do something else.

Emotional eating is comforting and we think that it helps reduce stress or helps us through stress.

You may lose weight on a diet but if you don't have your emotional eating under control, you will put the weight back on when you are done dieting. Best of luck.

remember this the human body is the most efficient fat making machine on the planet. So if you go low fat you may only lose a few pounds at best.If you exercise on top of that you could lose about 10 more.Body type will play a role in this. The problem with low fat is your body will gradually be able to make that into fat as well as it made regular food.If you then go off the low fat and start eating the way you did before you will gain more weight than you started off with.Exercise and moderation is the key.Lifestyle change could get you down to your target weight.Your target weight is how much you should weigh for your age, height and bone structure. If you can get yourself there be happy.

First off, acknowledge the strength of your body. Love it the way it is. Your body has carried children, yourself, and made it possible to be the successful person you are in other areas of your life. Give yourself permission to move freely. You can dance, jiggle, bounce, walk, sway, and run if you feel so inclined. Join a belly dance class. You will get to know how your body wants to move and take pride in your individual style. Dance and move freely! Indulge in your favorite goodies in moderation. Move and be active with your kids. Give yourself permission to live now and do all the things you want to do when you've lost those thirty or so pounds now. Reward yourself for being the strong person you are now by becoming more active. Remember, your family loves you for who you have become and who you are, not some idealized fantasy in your head;)

Work hard, play hard, exercise hard.

When I had jobs that were physically demanding I had to add lots of high calorie foods into my diet to keep the weight from falling off (I'm very small). Your body need to burn fuel to be very active.

If you increase your physical activity you should be able to eat the foods you love and slim and tone your body at the same time.
Now that it's summer, there are many pursuits that will be just as fun as they are good for your body.

I find kayaking great for strengthening and toning, and yet very calming/de-stressing. Playing Frisbee, basketball, or cycling with your kids will benefit the whole family.

Have fun!

Drink LOTS of water - even when you're not thirsty. Keep eating but make it a homemade spinach salad. - skip breakfast. Have a Latte instead with lots of steamed milk. This will start your metabolism - but it isn't tons of calories. have the salad at 1 or 2 pm and eat a sensible dinner. Then start taking Karate classes with your kids. something the entire family can enjoy and benefit from. I guess that's how I did it - so it might work for you too.

This is what worked for me. My Dr. recommened The Medifast Diet. It is Soy Protein. It teaches you to eat 5-6 small meals a day every 2-3 hours to speed up your metabolism. You will lose weight quickly with very little exercise. I have lost 35 lbs. so far. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions. lovejae247@yahoo.com

you can love food, you can lose weight but you cannot love food and lose weight. . There are only two ways this is possible
1) work with it so much that you no longer feel like eating it- sort of the de-sensitizing method.
2) get a really nasty case of food poisoning which will make you considerably lighter'
