It hasn't been for many years? Anyway, you should clarify the question because I am sure the point you are trying to make is "Is black and white people dating each other okay now?" There has been interracial dating for a very long time, but the one that irritated people was the black on white dating. Hispanics are a different race and they can date caucasians without an issue.

Okay it really depends on where you live on how it will look. Most places it's very common now. I don't know if acceptable would be the word I would use. Most relationships aren't accepted anyways, no matter what races are involved. Also it shouldn't matter if everyone accepts YOUR relationship. It's none of their business. If you love someone anything is worth a couple of stares and whispers, right? And most of the time interracial dating is alot better than limiting yourself to the views of the past. And if you think about it, interracial means different backgrounds not just color of skin. So those who look upon your relationship as something that shouldn't be done, should look at themselves and their relationships. Bc no one has the excact same background as another person unless they are family, and that's against the law in every state.

I think it's more acceptable now than most people realize it is. The big focus these days are how same sex couples shouldn't be together. Once upon a time people felt the same way about interracial couples, how it's wrong and how it's not how God intended, blah, blah, blah.
I say if two people are happy and love each other no matter what sex or race they are they have the right to be together, to get married, and to raise a family.

interracial dating is only acceptable to the person. interracial dating may not be acceptable to certain people. not everyone is cool with this. frankly i don't have a problem at all. because of some peoples twisted views on love and relationships, they tend to pass that info down to their children, neices, nephews, etc. so when they date they already have this in their minds that they cant date someone outside their race for the sake of shaming the family. i am a black woman who has dated a white man. big woof. lots of people do it. remember, love has no color. i thought this was 2006 not 1956.

Love is what a person feels not the color of their skin or the country they are from. True love is inside not outside.I live in the south ( Alabama) and I am seeing so many mixed couples it is not even funny. I think the people who tried to keep races separate are turning over in their graves right about now. To answer you question yes interracial dating is acceptable now.

Back in the 70s people used to make comments about interracial couples--and more so, if they had children with them. Today, I don't think people give it a second thought.

Go on a interracial date, look at who's looking at you, and ask yourself do you care, if it is acceptable.

I think certain people have embraced it an accepted it but there are still people who don't. Sometimes I feel that it's the older generation that find it hard to accept. I think young people are a lot more open to it. We are getting closer to it being the norm but as for right now, it's still frowned upon.

In most places it is acceptable, but in others it is just a big no, but i really dont see a problem with it. People today needs to wake up and stop thinkin that people of the same race must date and marry their own race. That is so stupid.

To an open-minded person yes, it is acceptable, now, in the past and in the future. But, for the people that have a one-track mind, it will never ever be. I am glad that I am one of the open-minded.
