"Muhammad" meaning "the one who praises" or "the praised one" is almost the translation of the Greek word Periclytos. In the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, and 16:7. The word 'Comforter' is used in the English translation for the Greek word Paracletos which means advocate or a kind friend rather than a comforter.
Paracletos is the warped reading for Periclytos. Jesus (pbuh) actually prophesized Ahmed by name. Even the Greek word Paraclete refers to the Prophet (pbuh) who is a mercy for all creatures.
All these meanings apply very well to the last and final phophet Muhammad PBUH.
==========================
for those who says that "comforter" mentioned in these prophecies (Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 7:) refers to the Holy Sprit. They fail to realize that the prophecy clearly says that only if Jesus departs will the Comforter come. The Bible states that the Holy Spirit was already present on earth before and during the time of Jesus (pbuh), in the womb of Elizabeth, and again when Jesus (pbuh) was being baptised, etc. Hence this prophecy refers to none other than Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

The "Comforter" is The "Perfect". the "Perfect" is the "WORD"., The "WORD" is "GOSPEL", The GOSPEL", is CHRIST",
That's why we are to Preach the Gospel. preach "Christ".
He probably belongs to one of these cults that deny the trinity. But yes, it is in the Old Testament. Genesis 1:1: In the beginning, Elohim created. That is not Yahweh, Elohim is a plurality, meaning more than one. Just like Cherubim and Seraphim, angels. Anything that ends in “im” is more than one.
Now, we know that God the Father was there, and you believed that. But in Genesis 1:2, the Holy Spirit moved upon the face of the waters. Then in Proverbs 30:4, it says, who hath created all the ends of the earth? Who hath created the world? What is God's name and what is His Son's name? That’s not the New Testament, that’s the Hebrew Scriptures. In Isaiah 9:6-7, it says, Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given. And what is the name of this son? The Mighty God in the next verse.
(allah had no son) (God Jehovah did.) That again is why we do NOT have the same God

The verses you're referring to are from John 14:16 and 26, 15:26, and 16:7. And, in two of these passages, Jesus explains exactly who it is:
"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." (14:26, NASB)
"But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:" (15:26, NASB)
As can be seen in Acts 2, the Holy Spirit came to the apostles in Jerusalem on Pentecost fifty days after Jesus' asecension.
So, no, Jesus is not referring to Mohammed.

Also the scripture said the comforter was to come and according to the scripture the holy spirit was already there. More than likely the comforter was to be a prophet but no christian would be willing to see this because it makes the way to atonement more dificult for them.

Muhammad is just the prophet of God, he's a human being, that was born, had childhood, .. etc. and finally died. Just like all human beings.
The holy-spirit is "Gabrielle", he's the most powerful angel, u can say the boss of all angels.

Muhammad is not God, a false Idol, it is against the 10 commandments to worship false idols. There is only one God that sent Jesus Christ to die for our sins, so that we may have eternal life through forgiveness, what did Muhammad DO FOR YOU?
