Go to your local GNC store (www.gnc.com) and puchase some weight gain. It comes in a powder that you can add to foods and beverages. Don't go crazy and buy tons of it though, as my brother bought 2 large bottles and only needed one to put his weight where he wanted to be. The left over bottle just collected dust in the cupboard. Once he reached his ideal weight, he stayed at that weight. That was over 6 years ago. He is 22 now.
Remember to follow the instructions on the package.

I had the same problem through my early 30-s. While I'm not sure of your age... The following helped me go from 5'6" / 100 lbs as a 14 yr old to 6'0" / 185 lbs as an 18... Lots of weight training (heavy sets, low reps) and a high protein diet (tofu shakes) that was well rounded with the other major food groups. NO steroids or other supplements!!! If you exercise a lot, shorter, more intense workouts may help to slow your metabolism. Good luck :-)

First, I would go to the doctor for a complete physical to make sure nothing is amiss. I found out recently that as thin as I am, I had an incredibly high cholesterol count and high sugar. Don't try to eat fatty, sugary foods to put on weight. Believe it or not, working out adds muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat. I would seek the advise of a nutritionist/dietician/physician. A balanced diet is always of utmost importance. These fad diets that promote eliminating entire food groups are, as such, unbalanced diets. I also take a daily vitamin with iron. And as ma always said, EAT YOUR FOOD SLOWLY!

There's always ways to gain weight. High protein diets with alot of carbs, meats, pastas, breads, etc. When I wanted to gain weight I drank Ensure 2-3 times a day and eat all kinds of pastas and alot of steak. But remmember, it's much more fun gaining the weight and alot harder and less fun to get off.

You can drink something like ensure along with your daily meals and that will absolutely make you gain weight. I have a friend that had that same problem and her doctor told her to drink Ensure or something equivalent to that.
Hope this helps.

During the day eat lots of snacks....especially protein bars. The marathon bars made by snickers have protein and calories to boost your weight, yet maintain your energy.

first go and see the doctor and ask him to check and see if your thyroid is okay,i think that is your problem and they can give you medication for that and then maybe you can gain weight.believe it or not our thyroid controls a great deal of our normal activities.
