Any good religious proof?

Question

I am an atheist, willing to be converted if there is a single one of you that can show me proof that there is a god. I don't won't to hear that I should have faith, or to look out my window. No babies being born. Good, solid, scientific proof that I can not deny. Something that will turn the nonbelievers. Now think hard, and if you can, answer. Here is a hint, I am a fan of pictures.

The mechanisms for these occuring are known or at least known not to involve a designer.

Lenny You cannot prove evolution false without refuting millions of independantly collected and verified data from people from all over the world of all religions & backgrounds. I do not think you realise the sheer volume of evidence for evolution, this is something you cannot refute in a whole lifetime - Many have tried, none have succeeded. Evolution is still the accepted mechanism throughout the scientific community, and a hell of a lot of clergy. You have no leg to stand on, creo sites don't do science. But good luck with that.

Just explain the geologic column and why we find the fossils as we do. I will want to see credible sources from scientific journals - oh thats right its not science, so has never been peer-reviewed successfully.

The answers you seek are in Islam. there you will find signs given by God that it is the only true religion. Some of the facts that were revealed in the Quran and we now have the scientific proof for are:

He has let free the two seas meeting together. Their is a barrier between them they do not trangress. (55:16-20)

The problem with the way you put the question is that you are limiting the potential answers. When you are looking for a scientific proof for a metaphysical concept then the premise is a dead-end. No pure scientific answer exist out there, but need to think outside of the box as they say, and think beyond the scientific tools.

and kind of science that was never discovered except last 200 years and the Quraan is 1400 years How ? God ? ....
and I think God talked about science because he knows that people need more than faith to believe that the book is from the creator him self take a look

How about I give you proof to make you never EVER convert?? Like the pathetic story about the world flooding, or the 'plagues'...yeah I'm sure. Or what about the fact that Noah himself worked for the blackmarket? Jesus never did die on the cross although he was nailed up there. The vatican is making someone hide a document that Jesus wrote after he was 'dead'. A church overseas has a picture of the disciples taking Jesus out of the tomb, not putting him in. PLEASE DON'T CONVERT!!!

The 81-year-old philosopher acknowledged the existence of God after a lifetime of atheism

An eminent British philosopher—a key champion of atheism for more than fifty years—announced late last year that he has come to believe that there really is a God, on account of the intelligent design of the universe and life forms.

Antony Flew, who became an atheist at 15, debated at Oxford in the 1950s. He promoted atheism through prestigious works such as his landmark 1984 book, The Presumption of Atheism.

His thesis was disarmingly simple: Most people assume that God exists, and therefore that the atheist must prove otherwise. Flew reversed the onus. He claimed that there is no evidence that God exists. Therefore, the religious believer must prove that there is a God.

Over time, Flew became a very successful atheist. Overall, he wrote ten books against belief in God, as well as many other works. His works were among the most widely reprinted in all of philosophy. One thing that helped him was that many people assumed, without really looking into it, that science evidence suggested that God does not exist.

So why did he change his mind when he was eighty-one years old? Not because he fears the eternal consequences of a lifetime spent promoting atheism. He insists that he still doesn’t believe in heaven or hell.

Rather, Flew was convinced by modern science findings. He was amazed by the language that is written into the DNA of every cell of each of our bodies. He said, “What I think the DNA material has done is show that intelligence must have been involved in getting these extraordinarily diverse elements together. The enormous complexity by which the results were achieved look to me like the work of intelligence.”

Flew discovered that a number of scientists and philosophers believe that the universe and life forms show scientific evidence of intelligent design—this is called the intelligent design hypothesis. At any rate, Flew began to think seriously about intelligent design in 2000. By 2003, he was actively corresponding with other philosophers about it.

Darwinism or Design?

The alternative to intelligent design is Darwinian evolution or Darwinism. According to Darwinism, life forms develop from amoeba to man by chance mutations, without any design or any need for God.

Flew put all the design arguments to Oxford scientist Richard Dawkins, who is well known not only for his defence of Darwinism but for the promotion of atheism on account of Darwinism.

And, according to Flew, Dawkins—an expert in Darwinian evolution—was not able to answer his objections based on intelligent design. Finally, in early 2004, Flew admitted to American Christian philosopher Gary Habermas that there must be a God. His change of mind became public later in the year, as the result of an interview released by the philosophy journal Philosophia Christi.

Flew makes very clear that he has not become a religious believer in any conventional sense. He thinks that God “… could be a person in the sense of a being that has intelligence and a purpose, I suppose.” In reality, he believes only that God created the universe.

But let’s not discount the importance of that admission. It means that Flew’s life—and yours and mine—have a meaning and purpose that go beyond our own feelings at any given time. We are here because God intended us to be here. That makes a difference as we confront the tangled problems of our lives.

The best-known Muslim author who writes on this fiercely controversial topic is Dr. Harun Yahya. He has written several books that address divine design in nature, notably Evolution Deceit (Istanbul: Arastirma, 2002) and Signs of God: Design in Nature (Istanbul: Global Publishing, 2001). As Yahya notes in his works, modern science knows vastly more today than in past centuries about the intricate details of life. And the more we know, the less likely any atheistic explanation seems.

Any good proof that Voltaire or Leonardo DaVinci existed? I'm a fan of pictures, too.

If you say that their works are evidence of their existence, then I will say that the same is true for God. If you say that the writings of witnesses are evidence of their existence, then I will say the same is true for God.

There is no evidence that the order of the universe could possibly have happened on its own. Where there is order, there must be design.

You really would be ready to be converted? You know, by saying such a statement, you are exposing yourself to receive long, droning, brainwashing excerpts from a little book of fairy tales...

You've just caught yourself up in that... I have experience in this domain: I never asked for it, but Christians did come to preach to me.

I just wanted to be left alone by them, if they couldn't tolerate me. That's not too hard, is it, now?

This should be a funny thread to watch, but I'll let you know right now what I'm sure you already know: there isn't any, and Christians don't know what "scientific evidence" is. It sure is funny watching them try to use logic though.

2. Look at creation. Look at sunsets. Look at the world around you.

3. Ponder this: if you can't make something out of nothing, then something must have always been there. (Something=God)
