Could be your diet. Your body needs protein to build muscle. You can use supplements, but the best natural way is to eat white or red meat like chicken or beef.

It may be that you need to talk to a nutisionist to ensure you're getting the correct balance in your diet. Also, you need to make sure you're resting adequately in between your exercise sessions. That's when the muscles grow. It will also depens on what exercises you're doing. If you just wanna bulk up quickly then focus on large muscle groups like your legs and chest. Are you doing the right amount of sets with correct weights? Lift hevy weights to increase strenth, moderate weights to increase bulk and light weights to tone muscles. I've found having a training partner helps as you can push each other further and lift heavier weights in a safe manner.

you only need to work out no more and an hr. depending on the body part you need to do about 5 different exercises and that's it. usally 3-4 sets starting from 15 reps to 12, 10, 8 consitently going up in weight. And you need a significant recovery time for your body parts

Your eating habits could be stopping you from gaining mass. Also, too much weight lifting could stop your muscles from growing. Make sure you do a quality amount of stretching, both before and after your workouts. Eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches a hour or so before bed, all the stuff in them help your muscles and body refuel itself while you are sleeping.

It's probably pretty simple. If you are working out excessively, then you are burning more calories than you eat. Look at what you eat to determine the amount of calories you are taking in.
Then analyze your workout to see how much you are burning. Take into account that your body burns calories all day long. Then do the math. If you are taking in the same or less than you are burning... there's your answer.

it all depends on your age..try doing more reps instead of more weight...you should be doing it for atleast half hour and also doing cardio..the better your heart is, the more oxygen that can get to your muscles...you can also try to protein shakes and that awful tasting stuff..it works...
