Why don't we just call them illegal migrants as President Fox calls them migrants?
We call them colonizers and for a good reason, for La Reconquista.
No matter what you call them it doesn't change the fact that my country expects and demands that I follow the law and pay taxes for those who are illegal citizens who don't have to do any of that.

First some definitions:
Immigrant: "A person who leaves one country to settle permanently in another."
Alien: An unnaturalized foreign resident of a country. Also called a non-citizen.
Many of the people we call immigrants are not. Even the ones we call legal. There are many people who come here and intend to "go home" after making money, finishing school or whatever.
Some of the people who we call illegal immigrants are. They fully intend to stay forever.
Alien covers so many people again, both of legal and illegal status.

Actually, the FULL phrase is 'citizens of foreign countries on american soil illegally'.
You're right in terms of the liberalism angle, the verbiage has been softened so as to disguise and lessen the blow of realizing that your representatives have made a career out of catering to and caving in to the pro-hispanic lobbies that have paved a path for the REST of Mexico and points south to move in with impunity. This administration, too, has been part of the 'globalization' wonderfulness that has allowed all of this to happen, unfortunately it's not until people come up with their car missing, or their TV, or somebody gets hurt, that they really and truly realize that there's A Problem. And, our dear ol' TV stations and newspapers, god bless em, especially the nationals, have done a superlative job of sweeping things under the rug.
I don't think it's a 'fait accompli', YET, but we're going to be hard at work over the NEXT 20 years keeping america 'america', such as it is, nothing like bad information to set people up for failure, eh, FOX news? LOLOL Hey, I know, let's watch a re-run of 'Married, with children!' Yayyy, FOX! lolol

First if they're unlawful they dont qualify for any goverment help. Most of the help they get is from the state or rivate associations. While a few illigal immirants get 10 greenbacks an hour or extra it os becaouse they do difficult jobs. Even in the event that they qualify for the entire matters you are saying they do does no longer imply they declare them. As for the crook acts there was once a statisctic that confirmed that at the same time one hispanic is also worried with medicinal drugs within the ghetto there are 5 caucasians doing the equal within the suburbs. They are low-priced hard work becaouse in most cases they become being affliction minimun salary. They give a contribution million in revenue taxes as good because the unidentified SS folder which has hundreds of thousands in go back for non existant SSN.

So if some move in a unlawful way they are Illegal immigrants. And I ain't learning a whole set of new terms to talk to fish brains. Has anyone checked your brain out?

For the same reason the media now calls terrorists, insurgents.
It's nothing but PC bombardment of the mindless. I find myself calling them illegal immigrants sometimes, I'll have to make sure I call them what they are from now on, illegal aliens.

Millions of them have come legally, but their visas have expired. Unfortunately it's really hard to get a new visa(almost impossible), so they've chosen to stay without it...Americans are such dumb asses and so insensitive to illegals, as if they didn't come from illegal immigrants. It's really pathetic.
Most " illegals" pay taxes and receive no benefits, wchich means their taxes go straight in your pockets...

I think the operative word is ILLEGAL. If we use alien, than some of our recent high school grads might think we are being invaded by spacemen.
Lets call them members of the Invading Forces of the Mexican Army - IFMA .

I think the term immigrant is an offensive word. It just sounds mean. I don't think anyone's trying to be PC when they say illegal immigrant, I think they're just saying what they've heard others say.
