Why are guys such jerks in front of there friends. I mean yes i know the whole ego thing and trying to look tough, but if u truly care about your gf why degrade her in front of your friends? Why say your gonna call her tomorrow when you know your not gonna?

Here's a question back... Why do girls date jerks? There are heaps of decent guys out there who aren't saps and treat women properly, but most girls I know are inately drawn to the ones that will treat them the worst.

Real men wont treat their gf differently in front of their friends. Most of the time the ones that do it are putting on a show so that their friends don't make fun of them later. and anybody who degrades you at all doesn't really love you. As for the not calling you when they say there going to. Sometimes it might be they already got what they wanted or there is also something stupid called the 3 day rule. You wait 3 days before you call so you don't look desperate

well... ur sn says 85... figure you're 21? Only reason I ask is I am too so I prolly know a little bit of what you're talkin about.
Look, I completely understand why you're wondering cuz I do the same exact ****. Some guys (me included) will joke around and talk "****" about their girls because a) they (we.. I) have to act .. non-pussyish (??) in front of our bro's because we don't want to take **** from them later on for being a pussy. b) it is a joke between the two of us (bf/gf).. it's like playful talkin ****.
Now, that being said, I've also realized that with my girl she is exactly that. A woman. I didn't realize for the longest time that, even though we joke about things and make fun of eachother, it is not the same when we're in front of a group of friends and I think I'm doing the same thing with you. I just don't realize I am guy joking because I'm around all them and I'm not teasin around with you like we would if we were together.
That bein said, if he's treating you like **** then dump him like a bad habit.
It's weird because I am guilty of these two things you're saying so I'm laughing and feeling bad for you at the same time.
The reason I say I'm going to call and don't is because I honestly (at the time) want you to feel happy when you go home knowing (thinking) I'm going to call and ... who knows, I might. But it is more of an impulse thing than I guess being really honest. I know how it feels bad though. I guess girls (well, obviously) are more sensitive than us guys and take things more personal. If he cares, he should call anyways.
Sorry for the first person to third person commentary lol... I need to learn to write more fluently. And btw, I'm not some computer nerd writing this **** who doesnt know what he's saying (lol, most of these dudes are). I've been there, done it, smoked it, drank it, dropped it lol. Hope this helped.

That is called posturing.
It is just a young male.
a)You just have to wait till her grows out of it.
b)You have to try to talk to him and get him to change the behaviour if he wants to stay with you.
c)You need to find a BF that is over that phase.
Take your pick.
I'd say that you do not communicate really well with him yet. You might want to learn to talk to him before you go any further. Put more effort into learning to talk than in makeup, clothing, gossip, or anything else. If you can really both open up and talk, not get mad at what the other really thinks, then you got it whipped. But if there are things that you each say or think that pi$$es off the other all the time, best go find someone that it does not happen with.

Some guys have learned somewhere to disrespect women. Check out how his dad treats his mom. Guys easily forget the THE GOLDEN RULE is actually a pretty good rule. Girls forget it among themselves too. Some poor treatment of girls is just misplaced anger. If a girl doesn't accept it he won't do it again. If he does, the girls forgets that loser.

Because it makes you sit around for hours thinking about it and about us. It pisses you off and that keeps you coming back over and over again trying to get us to treat you right. Stop complaining about it girl, if you really wanted nice guys then you wouldn't ignore all the nice ones over the jerks in the first place. You got what you wanted.

i'm guessing you're young....so i'll tell you that young guys are immature and think it's cool to treat their girls badly when other people are around. he wants to show his friends that you're his little bitchh and that he has you in check. the next time he act like an asss, go off on him in front of his friends. be prepared for him to be really mean right back, but he probably wont do it again the next time you are out with him.

cause the guys are constantly in a race to compete with each other
they dont like having the fact that one is better than the other
that just kills um
but i wouldnt ever do that
id just act sweet - i dont care what my friends think....
id just act how i would as if were the only ones around (mainly)
