Yea it kind of went like that in my house too and I was the baby, I just ignored it and went about my business at least I didn't have the pressure of impressing or being someone or something I didn't want to be. Honestly I think it's made me a better person than him why because I know the meaning of independence and how it works unlike him who needs mommy for everything.

I was in your position too. My brother was expelled from 2 schools then had to be homeschooled, and had a baby at 18... but I was the least favorite... he was the parents favorite and the grandparents. I just moved on and didn't worry about it, lived my life. Now it's changed since I'm almost 18 and he's 20. Everyone is treated the same.

My family is so weird and messed up that I don't even mess with playing favorites. I mean seriously go to the family gatherings, tell em ya love em, and go get on with your life! There is no sense in trying to please them, ya just can't do it! Act like you don't care what the family thinks. Once your brother see that you don't care he'll think that there's no sense in pretending anymore. And the family will see his true colors!!!

It's competition. Get in the game and start plaing for their favor. Sometimes "deserves" doesn't ever enter into the equation.

It appears that you come from a tactless family. Just try being a foul-mouthed, inconsiderate biatch and you'll go far. You're almost there already.

Nothing, if its there its there. You can just deal with it, or try to ignore it. But you cant stop someone from favoring someone else.
