If by a "straightener" you mean a flat iron, there are lots of products. I have the same problem, and I have found that these work: Pantene Smooth and Sleek shampoo and conditioner (buy both, not the 2-in-1) helped the most. You can also try 2 products that you can find in the salon: Get Straight ( I think it's Redken) and Flat-out (can't remember - maybe BedHead?). There's also a product that you can get at Wal-Mart, Target, etc called "Straighten Out" - it's in a hot-pink kind-of-curvy bottle.

OMG I have to tell you about one of my favorite remedies. Well first off I use a flat iron...that does REALLY well. And I'm assuming you're not talking about crazy, out of control frizz...go to Walmart and pick up Garnier Fructis Style Smoothing Milk. This bottle will last forever because it doesn't take much. Just get a little bit on the tips of your fingers or the palm of your hand and smooth it over the frizzies. Then I'd brush your hair through again to kind of blend it in better. I LOVE this stuff. Oh yeah...major bonus...it smells great. People tell me all the time that my hair smells good. Makes me melt when a cute guy leans over and smells my hair : )

I have the same prob., just use lots of conditioner made for colored or permed hair. After washing blow dry immediately do not let it air dry at all. Brush straight down and all the way trough hair while drying. I prefer milk based conditioners to help with the frizzies and to weigh done fly aways.

If you are not into wearing your hair straight use curl enhancing products. Their rich moisture helps to keep the hair in check. Otherwise use a straightening iron and a protective product designed to be used with the heat of the flat iron. These products lock out humidity and protect the hair from the heat.

You can't- it's part of your hair's structure. But you could use a "flat iron" to straighten it everytime you wash it, but once you start sweating it may still frizz again unless you use a good product, like a strong mousse or pomade.

once you blow dry your hair, use a boar bristle brush... or the different organic bristle brush. you're able to as properly purchase them at aim. area your hair into 3 areas, the backside, the middle and the properly suited. whilst your hair is moist, prepare some product (any style will do... the reason you place on product is b/c it protects it from the warmth) then once you blow dry your backside area of hair, blow dry it below. whilst it particularly is dry, do an identical to the middle area and then to the properly suited. it is going to take it slow to get used to blow drying your hair below yet you will get the cling of it! once you're all finished, you are able to prepare some de-frizz. the significant to blow drying your hair immediately is to apply a boar bristle brush!

i would suggest using some sort of frizz spray, it works just enough to control your frizz but not to damage your hair from stiffness.

Blow dry it straight or use Dove or Garnier Fructis.
