Depends how recent the expiry date is! Within a day or two should be okay - but then it should be consumed as soon as possible once opened. Use your own judgement - if it looks okay and doesn't smell bad, then you can use it.

That really depends on the date it is expired. A lot of things are said to still have a good shelf life after the expiration date. Look up the answer on the internet to be certain. I did see a news clip about this topic on Yahoo.

Expire dates are placed for a reason. I'm in Culinary Arts after something expieres there's a good possibility that Pathogens can grow in it and it won't smell nor taste differently but you can end up with E. coli or Saminella etc. The bad thing is everyone who eats it might get suck causin a foodborne illness.

It all depends on how much after the expiration date you are.
If it's only a day or two, open and smell and if it doesn't smell spoiled, it should be fine, depending on what use it's intended for

It depends on how much it's expired. If it's a day or two, it should be fine. Smell it first and if it smells even slightly funny, throw it out.

If it hasn't been expired for very long, then I don't see why not. Just don't use it for too long.

Open it and taste it. It will probably be sour, but check and see. If it's not sour go ahead and use it, but throw away any you don't use because it won't last much longer.
