GEICO Auto Insurance. I am a male age 28, driving a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado Crew Cab. I have full coverage: Liability, collision, and comprehensive- I live in New Orleans, LA- my insurance payments are a grand total of $86.00/month. And GEICO has a policy, "No accidents, no tickets- gets the rate that you pay reduced EVERY six months by 5%. My insurance bill has gone down, and down. Even though I went out and bought a new truck. See GM.com about the Colorado Crew Cab, then remember that I only pay $486.36/month note and $86.00/month insurance- that was with negative equity in my trade-in: a 2000 GMC Sonoma, I owed 6,900 on it. I didn't put a dime down for the Colorado either. I signed my name, and drove it off the lot. It's a purchase, not a lease too.

Progressive is pretty good. The way to get the cheapest insurance though is to have a clean driving record, have an old, but not too old car, and make sure it's not a sports car. Then you have a good shot at getting a decent deal.

Ive gone through Progressive Ins. since I started driving my own car at 20..They are the most reasonable for single young males on their own insurance policy with their own car.... I had to call Geico and tell them to stop sending me FALSE advertisements because they are a lot ,ore expensive for young males than alot of other companies... They told me I was lying lol Go figure...I also hear they suck as far as claims.

I think it depends on a couple different factors. It will help if he has an older car that is completely paid for. If he is financing it will be much more expensive. Progressive, State Farm and Allstate are the best one I know of

Well It obviously depends where you are. If you're in the UK (coz i read this on the UK site), give either Norwich Union or Direct Line a buzz, they gave me good quotes and I have the same basic asl as your friend (i guess, 21/m/UK?).

Depends on a bunch of things; claims, credit, driving, vehicle and where its kept at plus the type of coverages. It takes time to receive qoutes for a lot of different companies - his best bet is to find a local agent who works with a lot of companies to do the leg work for him.
