Deporting, I would guess $50-75 per person. I have a better idea, fine businesses exorbitant amounts for having undocumented workers. $200,000 first offense, $500,000 second offense, $1 million third and so on. This will eliminate business that employ illegal immigrants. No jobs for illegal in America= no illegal aliens in America.

No clue. Some feel that once the employer laws are enforced and jobs dry up a lot will leave on their own, particularly if there is a guest worker program providing cheap 'legal' workers so the employer has no reason to hire someone here illegally.
Personally I don't think the American people would be able to live with years and years of hard luck deportation stories. I'd rather secure the border, put enforceable employer sanctions in place, screen the illegals here, and scrap the guest worker program until we can figure out how many we need and what the impacts on domestic education would be.
The guest worker program is so huge it is intended to permanently drive down wages so we can compete with China for hard labor jobs. Meanwhile, all of those poor immigrants would be attending our schools and using our services. That is the real problem I think we have to stop.

You can not possibly think this is a reasonable solution, just think how your people would have felt if 100 years ago or how ever long they have been in the US-if someone said " SORRY-I like you and all and I know your people have started a life here and helped to build the Country-BUT YOU HAVE TO GO BACK TO YOUR COUNTRY NOW! Where there is no $ and not chances. After all the only TRUE Americans are American Indians. The boarders have been kept loose for so many years and now that the jobs are not plentiful-someone has to be blamed, when the Latino people were working in the 2nd & 3rd class jobs-NO ONE COMPLAINED! Now that they want to be equal after all the years of being treated like crap-you're MAD! And by the way-I'm a WHITE AMERICAN!

It would cost alot and take a long time.the U.S. can barely manage to put up all the money needed for border security, let alone to deport.

Billions of $$$ for deporting hard workers the US economy desperately needs. NOTHING more stupid than that!
Then you'll have to import them back, for no American will do your dirty jobs.

Way more than we have to spend if we do it the ACLU way. Trucks loaded & dumped would be in our price range. They got here that way, I say they leave the same way. Dead of night in trucks. We will give them water & snack. Like flying these days.

you all should be ashamed. you may own your property but you dont own this nation. "keep ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she With silent lips. "give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
